Efficient service

I arranged my annual service with the company. An appointment was arranged at a convenient time for me and the engineer turned up on time. Apart from the boiler service inputs/outputs were inspected and cleared and advice given. Everything was left clean and tidy.

Boiler Cover

The service provided by this company does not match what is advertised. They claim to be a 24/7 company, however in reality they have a core team that works normal working hours and a relatively inexperienced and untrained team for out of hours who do nothing but request a callback. I had a very nasty experience when moving property where the company expects you to continue paying your policy even when you have sold your house. Initially, I was refused the opportunity to speak to a manager to discuss this further. Eventually after a lengthy discussion, I was offered a manager call back. I eventually spoke to Luke Mantoura who claims to be the Chief Operating Officer. He spoke to me condescendingly, accused me of wasting his time and being difficult before cutting the call on me after a lengthy discussion about terms and conditions. I still do not understand precisely what they are covering but have been forced to stick with them for the next 10 months even though I no longer live at the property or own the boiler. All I have had is an annual service. I would think very carefully about engaging with this company. Ensure you don’t fall victim to survivor bias - read the negative reviews as well as the positive ones. If you decide to go ahead, insist on them carefully explaining the policy to you, including your cancellation rights - a lot is buried in the small print.

Great Service.

The Engineers were very polite. Prior to arriving they contacted me to inform me of when they would arrive. They were well presented and respected my home and brought protective boots. The lead engineer explained what the fault was and answered my questions without hesitation.

Ive been with the boiler co silver plan…

Ive been with the boiler co silver plan for a number of years up to now only have had the yearly check up
My boiler stopped working 19.1.2024 I phoned them they sent a engineer out very quickly he went upstairs.3 seconds can down told me hive light out so put it on also went you have old boiler I could have told him that hence policy. I contacted them got told someone will be out I was left until today 25th.1.2024 coldest weekend i have a chronic lung condition which he was told about. No real apologise from them more worried cancelling the policy.
I have now orded a new boiler to be fitted by another company.
The service is terrible.
