The staff were friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was totally perfect, well cooked and presented and a delight to eat. We were totally stuffed afterwards. Thought we would go for a walk over the bridge but after eating here just wanted to lay out on the bank of the river and snooze. Guess what won haha!
Put this on your musky as a place to visit.

Meeting friends as before, this time sitting in warm sunshine on the patio next to the river. Excellent food, service a bit slower than last visit (Dec 24), but it was much busier. e.g. a request for a jug of water needed reminders - many restaurants provide water as standard on arrival. We stayed chatting for quite a while after our meal, the atmosphere was relaxed with no hovering to move us on or buy more drinks. Will I go back? Do I recommend The Bridge? Yes to both.

The food was mixed today. My calves liver was sinewy and chewy so left half of it. No one came to ask if everything was OK as is normal. Eventually someone came and took the plate away and when I said it was not good (he could see a load left) he said sorry but no acceptance of the poor quality. All other aspects of the meal were OK and desserts delicious.
There seems to be a lack of attention to detail as I had calves liver only last week elsewhere and the experience was great.

Visiting friends in the area and was recommended this restaurant, how disappointed I was in this recommendation, considering the pricing (expensive), bang average food terrible wine below average and slow service. Thank god for the view.
