I’ve contacted the brolly store several times via email (only method available) asking about my order. I’ve heard nothing. I’m not sure if this is a real business or a scam.

Turned up broken
Turned up broken. Tried to email Support email inbox but got a cannot deliver message as mailbox is full. Not surprised bad customer service. I have tried 5 times but same happens every time so I am £40 down. AVOID. I have a fab brolly now from a much better seller.
Fraud
Placed and paid for an order on December 10, 2024. Its now March 1, 2025 and not only never received the item, but after multiple requests for information through the past several months, I have not received any replies. Not sure what the business model is. I had to claim fraud with my credit card company for reimbursement. Shame.

Cannot contact customer support regarding broken umbrella
On second use my umbrella has broken. I have emailed the address on the website, but got a bounceback. There is no telephone number to contact. What is happening here?

Cheap Chinese tat.
Wish I had read the reviews on here before buying.
Umbrella arrived in reasonable time, but quality is very poor. Cheap and flimsy, no worth the price charged by any means.
Also, as far as the origin of the product is concerned: Shipping information says shipped from Shanghai, so I'm just a little skeptical when the company says their products are shipped from Hong Kong/Nottingham/Netherlands rather than China.
It's not worth my time to try and return the item and judging from the reviews left here, it's probably not worth the trouble.

I bought two flip umbrellas
I bought two flip umbrellas. Soon after the purchase, one broke, and I was sent another. The replacement umbrella also broke. This was disappointing, especially given how expensive these umbrellas are. While the service was fairly good and responsive, the quality was poor.

raindrops umbrella
Bought the raindrops umbrella, used it once the knob/handle that apparently unscrews (design fault ) who knew, fell off and rolled onto train tracks, so I could not retrieve , contacted customer service 😂, was told guarantee only covers delivery and manufacturing damage not customer damage ! no damage done on my part especially on first ever use , after numerous emails was offered half price off another , why design a umbrella whose knob easily unscrews off and is not secure? and secondly not even stock replacements,? both questions which were asked and no response .
Terrible customer experience and along with that they control reviews on their website as mine never appeared . Do not recommend them at all , steer well clear .

We used the umbrella less than 5 times…
We used the umbrella less than 5 times before we noticed 3 of the tips had snapped.
Contacted the company and said they would repair if we paid to and fro delivery charges and that the umbrella is delicate and should not be knocked. We obviously had not been bashing the umbrella about.
We decided to send off and they said great news, it’s been fixed and we even sorted out the loose handle - which we were not aware had been loose.
Within 2 more uses another tip snapped. Contacted to complain and said we could pay for to and fro delivery again and they would fix. We said this isn’t good enough and have no confidence that it won’t happen again and why should we have to pay for another set of delivery charges. They ignored us.
Also delivery in first place took ages to arrive from China. Saves their carbon footprint - apparently - from being sent out direct.
A real disappointing and frustrating experience. Awful quality. Avoid.

Colour was misleading
I purchased this product in green. Received it and it was not as per the pictures. I work in marketing and the photos have been clearly altered and enhanced, based on what I received. The photos online are a beautiful forest green. When you receive it, they are olive green and the handle and the brolly material itself are not a uniform colour. I flagged this with customer services. I was told it was not misleading at all, and an explanation of the background colour essentially reflecting on the umbrella was the reason. Totally get that this happens, but it is then misleading for the colour I expect to receive. Returning the product is cumbersome, they don't provide the return label or packaging and you need to pay for returns yourself unless the item is faulty. They then tell you it's to be eco conscious, which I agree with. But when you've made your product so misleading, from what you saw online, it's not a great experience to pay to return it. While customer services were super responsive, would avoid this store in the future based on what I would call unethical practices

Damn, damn. There was nothing about the website that gave a hint that they are actually based in China! Been waiting ten days, but now that I've finally twigged the problem, I'm not hopeful of ever seeing the order, or if I do that it will resemble the pictures.
Lesson learned. Check more carefully next time!

Awesome umbrella!
I purchased the "Glow" umbrella to replace an umbrella I had for the past 10 years+. The umbrella itself is really nice, seems strong and well made. It has a built in torch at the bottom which unscrews, pops out and takes 3 AAA batteries and is really bright. And the light shaft down the centre, which changes colour by use of a press button on the handle is awesome and bright too and has about 5 different colours.
Now a few negatives which keep this from being a 5 star review. Firstly, the umbrella description said this was an "automatic" umbrella, maybe I'm just being dumb but I thought that meant it automatically opens with the press of a button. Not a deal breaker just thought it meant something else.
And secondly, this came straight from China, I could have sworn the FAQ said orders to the UK come from their UK warehouse. Again not a deal breaker but with the weather we are having in the UK at the moment I needed it fast as a replacement. It took 2 weeks to arrive.
Overall I'm happy with my umbrella and hope it lasts a long time.

POOR QUALITY BROLLIES
What a disaster! Waited nearly 2 weeks for the brolly to arrive although it did say this when ordering. Arrived in bent box and the brolly didn't open properly. Unfortunately I ordered from this company in error as it had a similar name to one I'd ordered from before which were good quality umbrella's. Despite sending photos of damaged box and brolly that doesn't open properly even after following their advice. They are constantly asking for photos of the damage! A brand new brolly that doesn't open properly is damaged in my view. Poor quality shaft that doesn't look like it will last. Wish I'd read these reviews before ordering.
