Unscrupulous thieves

Make sure you know what you are buying , we bought a white Audi A4 from here , 17 ECU faults . Returned the car 7 days later and asked for our part exchange back or the £4000 . Refused our refund stating we asked for repairs . Took 4 weeks to get £3500 back off these thieves . Luckily the finance company felt responsible and gave us the other £500 .

NO!!

They sold me a car that when I put it in the garage the next day it had failed its MOT - they refused to have the car taken back to them unless someone else has paid so the finance company agreed to pay it and said when the car returned they’d refund me my whole deposit … 5 days after the car’s been returned and I am STILL waiting for my money back …. this is a company that just thinks about money and will do anything to keep their hands on other peoples money. The service is shocking and communication is the worst I’ve ever dealt with.
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM!!!

Booked a viewing for an Audi A4, car was in immaculate condition with all its paperwork too. Went for a test drive, fell in love with the car, i got a more than fair price. I had to swipe up the deal there and then which was a swift process init self. Friendly staff, amazing service, definitely going to reccomend to family and friends.

STEAR CLEAR

Absolute joke of a company. 5 days we had the car and a fault came about. Was told we couldn't get money back, the warranty only covered certain things and they would need the car a few days
We are now 200 away from the price we paid for the car on parts and labour. Its an absolute joke

I would not ever suggest anyone to use this company

A truly terrible compaany to deal with

A truly terrible company to deal with. I was due to purchase a car with Car Corner in February 2022. After finding a car that I really liked on their website I contacted them to arrange a viewing. They sent me a few videos of the car and from what I could see it looked to be in great condition. Car Corner insisted a few days prior to viewing the car that I should pay a deposit as there had been significant interest in the car. I advised that I could manage a £100 deposit although this would leave me short of cash until payday. They happily took the money and I assumed that I would be picking up a great little car a few days later. I took my brother with me to check the car over as he's a mechanic. When we arrived the first thing we noticed was a strange smell - it was burning oil. My brother then went on to check the car over and found faults immediately. The boot wouldn't open, the revs were too high, the engine was making a loud ticking noise and there was a significant amount of rust that had never been mentioned. This was enough for me to say I no longer wanted to go ahead with the sale. Myself and my brother went into the office to advise them of the issues and asked for my deposit back. They insisted that deposits are none refundable and advised that it states this on the website. I explained that nobody had mentioned this to me nor had I noticed it on the website. They insisted it was on there. Myself and my brother felt quite intimidated so left knowing we wouldn't get any further at this point. Once we were away from Car Corner I checked the website and it did not state any where that a deposit was non refundable. A lot of time and effort went in to trying to buy a car from this dreadful place. Avoid them entirely! A bunch of lying conmen!!!

Criminals

I recently bought and part exchanged at the car corner and my experience was horrible! The car I purchased was advertised with many features it didn’t have plus cheaper car tax and nationwide delivery. The car was delivered late at night with many faults including a engine warning light. When I wanted to return the vehicle I was ignored, when I returned the car and wanted a refund I was ignored. They refused to return my part exchange but didn’t pay the settlement. As they wouldn’t refund us or pay out for our part exchange we were left without a car or anyway to get one. They made me pay 6 months road tax on the car which was double what they advertised but they never put the car in my name so I have no way of claiming this back. They don’t care about what they have put us through and they don’t care that they have taken money from us. I’m still being ignored.

Bought car at the end of November 2021

Bought car at the end of November 2021. Within a day or two i noticed the following the faults:

1)There was a black sticker covering the airbag warning light. Not picked this up when looking at the car.
2) AC button and AC not working
3) Rear heated window not working
4) Rear wiper when used then just hung at the bottom of the boot
4) Timing belt squeaking
5) Gear changes from 1st to 2nd really sticky and engine making a loud knocking noise.
6) Squeaky clutch
7) Smell coming from the exhaust

Took the car back to be fixed. After three days all that was fixed was the removal of the sticker on the air bag warning light. Sent the car back in again. The car was in for a week and was returned with only the wiper fixed. Was told to return the car after Christmas as the mechanic wasn't due back in until after Christmas. Finally got my car booked in last week. Car was booked in from Tuesday and was picked up on the Saturday. All that was fixed was the engine noise and gearbox. When asked why the other items had not been fixed the response was that the mechanic was busy. The car has been in the garage for nearly three weeks since buying it and all they fixed was the sticker, wiper and the engine noise. I can't keep taking the car to the garage and having it be there for days and it still not be fixed.

I look forward to the response from the garage as i do not know how they can defend the fact that the car has been in their garage for a total of three weeks since I purchased the car and only three out of the 7 items have been fixed. Just to note, all of these items were reported within the one month warranty.

Do not purchase you'll regret it

Car purchased, on day of arrival was faulty. They refused to take the car back and refund. We had car fixed garage bill over £500. Having to take to Smalls Claims Court for costs. Dreadful company and not Trading Standards have fined them several times.

Car review

They are the worst people to deal with. They sell you dodgy vehicles to people without notifying them of all the problems. After selling the car, they do not answer your calls or reply to your email. They are a rip off and I would not recommend anyone to buy a car off them.

Untrustworthy Car Company

Do not buy your vehicle through this company. The car you buy will not last. They are compulsive liars and they will try to sell you an extended warranty with the AA or RAC that does not exist. Not a good experience and would not recommend that anyone buys through this company. When it came to its MOT nine months on, the cost was over £900 for it to pass, and it was missing a boot plug which caused condensation issues, which was not mentioned to me at the time of the sale.

We had excellent service from Mush…

We had excellent service from Mush today. He and the team were very helpful in helping us buy our new car. We turned up towards the end of the working day and they stayed past closing to allow us to test drive the car and ask millions of questions, then complete all the paperwork etc. They were happy to help problem solve our logistical issues. Great service - with a smile - and we have left as very happy customers!

Avoid avoid avoid

Well today we tried to purchase a car from the car corner in rochdale . After four phone calls to say we wanted said vehicle and arranged finance for the car on route to collect the car we received a phone call ten minutes from the dealer to be told they had sold the car we wanted . So we was left with a finance agreement and no car to buy . Never ever again will I be going here two amateur car sales men if I must say so

A very upset partner and to be honest so was I total waste of time

Avoid at all costs

WARNING/BE AWARE! THE CARCORNER LTD ROCHDALE

JUSTICE HAS BEEN SERVED! MAGISTRATES COURT. Defective car supplied on the 7/11/19. Dvsa inspection deemed car mot failure! 10 weeks later still fighting Carcorner. New car was supplied with new mot, after 10 weeks Carcorner have offered to carry out repairs. These people delivered us a defective car, they took our car as part exchange. These people left two disabled people with children with no transport until we had to borrow more money to buy additional car. We are now paying finance on Carcorner's unusable car. Also bank loan on replacement car. We complained to the Carcorner the day after delivery of new car, new car rejected within days of delivery. When Carcorner told us to buy ebay parts and get our Son, who is a mechanic to fit parts cheap and they would pay initially £200 going to max of £500! We'd have enough. We asked to end agreement! Carcorner had already sold our part exchange car! This was even after I informed Carcorner not to sell our old car. New car had been rejected! We wanted our old car back and agreement ended. These people should not be trading. They have no morals. I'm shocked to read the positive reviews of Carcorner! Hard to believe these people are reviewing the same company! Please be careful before using this company and ignore positive reviews!
