Great content
Great content, broken down into clear chapters for easier comprehension. Great being able to pick up in the evenings and fit around the day job. Attended some insightful webinars, too - which I preferred to the module videos as they were much more engaging.

Presentation and structure of the Moduls
Overall the presentation of the Moduls was very good. I particularly liked the case studies, the interviews and the knowledge assessments are certainly very helpful to prepare for the exams.
There are a few points which I think could be improved:
I was not a fan of the discussion forum - it felt like most people including me just did their duty but did not really get anything out of it.
The Financial Modul was far less clear and much more difficult to grasp the concepts, the language is not as clear as in other modules and the attempt to use different words for the same thing is utterly confusing (I needed help from my accountant daughter to get clarity). In addition this module needs a further proof read - there are loads of spelling errors.
I also suggest that you regularly check the links for further reading - many in the finance module did not work, but had been reinstated after I highlighted this.
Overall I learned a lot and certainly would recommend this course for aspiring board members.

A Comprehensive Course requiring Life-long Learning!
It was a very thoughtful course which was comprehensive in nature but also clearly outlined the need for continued education as it is a developing field of knowledge and governance that everyone is grappling with. I particularly liked the AI Risk Management Framework covering the lifecycle of any AI system.

Builds essential NED knowledge, but could be more current
This corporate governance course provides a comprehensive grounding in the essential knowledge needed for director roles, covering key areas like strategy, finance, risk, and evaluations effectively. It's particularly good at building a strong base-level understanding for those newer to governance. The support team were very responsive which I appreciated.
To take it to the next level, I feel the course would benefit from incorporating more current case studies and information, particularly reflecting recent trends in areas like ESG and technology. Furthermore, while the discussion forums are included, enhancing their interactivity and fostering deeper peer-to-peer engagement could significantly boost their value as a learning tool.
Overall, a valuable programme for establishing core governance knowledge, with potential for refinement in content currency and community interaction.

A decent starting point to learn more about a Co Sec role
Slightly odd title for a course / certificate, but gives a basic understanding of the role the company secretary has to play and some basic governance knowledge. I found some of the materials (particularly the videos a bit repetitive in terms of content).

AI Governance
I like that the course is really useful and provides plenty of practical and actionable techniques for working with AI governance. My only suggestion is to allow downloading the content as a PDF for future reference.

Excellent course with depth and structure
The Corporate Governance Institute Diploma in Corporate Governance is an excellent course -well structured, thorough and designed to let you dig as deeply as you could possibly want into the material. The assessments, though multiple choice, are thoughtfully crafted and really challenge your understanding. I found the website a bit fiddly at times when trying to get credit for completing modules, but overall it was a great learning experience. Would highly recommend it.

I thought the content of the course was very interesting and useful. As its an online course, it is a bit of a lonely learning experience. The course needs a couple of check-in points with others taking the course.

Diploma in Corporate Governance, strongly recommend it (it requires time and endurance though)
I took the Diploma in Corporate Governance. I think that the course and the course materials are great. Structure and content of the materials work very well and one can learn a lot depending on how much one embarks on the journey to do the course properly and dive deeper into the detail with the extra references and learning resources offered. The diploma is a lot of work and requires endurance and time, but it is worth it. I believe that I learnt a lot and would whole-heartedly recommend The Corporate Governance Institute and the Diploma course.
