Not only that but they do not operate with offering you a RETURN AND credit, they ignore your emails. BUYER BEWARE!

BUYER BEWARE!! I was searching for a new phone for Christmas. My phone company was out of stock. I clicked on a phone to take me to Device Depot’s website. It said it was unlocked and ready for shipping, so I went ahead and purchased along with paying additional fees for fast shipping. It came. It was not new, and was wrapped in protectant wrap and a plastic case. I contacted the company as I believed to be purchasing a NEW phone. Nowhere in the description — nor my receipt — did it state pre-owned. The manager left me a 2-minute long voicemail without stating his name scolding me for “not doing my due diligence” and stating they’re charging me 12% restocking fees. Bad business. Nowhere on my purchase did it state I was buying a pre-owned phone and it was priced as new!!!! I sent I back and now am out an extra $104 “restocking fee” and $25 shipping fee. I believe this is how they tend to make much of their profits because “they’re a small business” but they also don’t clearly state you’re purchasing a USED device. I was able to purchase TWO VERSIONS NEWER for $200 LESS on another site BRAND NEW a day later. Overall the customer service is seriously lacking. And their website could really use an update to EASILY show if you’re purchasing a new or renowned device.

Complete scam, refurbished sold as new, they don't actually expedite.

First of all, the reviews on their site are altered - and there's no way to change it after you actually receive your order. They make it appear as though you're only rating the shopping experience. I clearly state that they lost a star due to lack of inventory, and yet somehow they have a full 5 stars on my review when I'm 100% I clicked only 4. 2) I paid for expedited shipping and it took an ENTIRE WEEK to receive my package, and it was only pushed after I emailed because it was the 3rd business day and UPS still didn't even have my pkg yet. The label says UPS Ground, which isn't their expedited service. 3) The phone was obviously refurbished w/ phone glue all around the edge coming out of the seam, dents in the corner, white stuff around the side and the rear camera - and THE WORST THING: NO SIM CARD HOLDER. And no, the phone was not listed as renewed or refurbished on their site!!! So when I FINALLY received my phone, I COULDN'T USE IT! Do NOT use this site, because apparently they also charge a 20% fee to make sure they get their money because they are running a scam and know people are going to most likely return their crap.

Poor customer service skills.

While they have a great selection and checkout process, do not believe their shipping times. If you pay for Express 1 to 3 day shipping, you should expect it to 1 to 3 days. They claim if you order before 1 PM, the item ships out that same day. Did not happen in my case. Then when you question it they pass the blame onto the shipping company and choose to argue with me that I was mistaken, and I misunderstood their "language" on the website, and how dare I ask for a partial refund of the shipping cost because I could not decifer their "code". While I found the prices fair and the check process to be good, I will never order from a company that thinks that arguing with a customer is the best practice. And what I found really funny is how they never gave their name in their email responses. Why the secrecy? Guess you don't want to be called out for your poor customer interaction. And you chose to reply back in such an immature manor.
