OK, I'm a blind composer and producer. I've been with NI since 2016 when the first Kontrol Series and Komplete Kontrol software launched, from there I've owned an MK2 and now, the MK3. I'm giving this review today as I can do so officially now. I can officially state and confirm that Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol MK3 series controllers are now blind friendly thanks to the official launch of the new specification Accessibility Helper and Firmware V2.04 which allows someone with visual impairment or who is blind to navigate komplete kontrol and your DAW with a spoken interface purely from the kontrol S series MK3. I am in love with this keyboard at last, so take it from me, this is worth the investment regardless of whether you can see or not. It feels amazing, access to the controls you want and so much more. The latest firmware and hardware connection service software provide better support for particular DAW's with further to come soon and external midi support for synths through the midi templates built in and customisation. you'll be impressed at what this can now achieve thanks to NI's amazing developers who work hard and tirelessly, and that's from me who's given them a bit of a hard time lately with accessibility matters as a specialist in the industry.
