However long you require our services you can rest assured that your dog will be treated like one of our family. Should you choose to board two or more four legged friends sharing a kennel (just like at home) then this is of course possible. At The Dog Lodge , we take your dog vital nutrition very seriously, for many pets a sudden change in environment is enough to put them off their food and cause them stress, therefore wherever possible we highly recommend making only very minimal dietary changes. Fresh water is readily available at all times and frequently changed for freshness. Food preparation is always carried out wearing gloves and using the correct protocol at all times to protect all of our Lodgers and Staff. All food and drinking receptacles are cleaned after every use and deep disinfected at least once a week. All receptacles, toys, bedding are regularly checked for damage and replaced regularly. We will talk you through your pet’s food schedule and any dietary restrictions, allergies, medications, long or short term illnesses or injuries and any other information that we may need or that you feel is important for us to know about your beloved pet at the time of booking. Any special requirements, allergies or intolerances will need to be declared when booking your pet’s stay with us.
