I recently completed my 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification with Electrical Academy, and I can honestly say the experience was exceptional from start to finish.

Kevin, Lani, and the entire team were outstanding. The level of knowledge, support, and professionalism they provide is second to none. They break down complex topics in a way that is easy to understand, while still maintaining the high standards required for the qualification.

What really stood out to me was their commitment to ensuring every candidate fully understands both the theory and practical elements – not just to pass the exam, but to become competent and confident in real-world application.

The support throughout the course was excellent, with plenty of guidance, patience, and encouragement. Nothing ever felt rushed, and no question was ever too much trouble.

I would highly recommend Electrical Academy to anyone looking to complete their 2391 or further their electrical qualifications. A first-class training provider

Great team, All very helpful special mention for Mark and Lani. Mark; superb instruction on 18th Edition and Exam technique, without which Im sure I would have failed, top advice on how to navigate a career transition using my existing Qualification.
Lani; for not only scanning all of my “old” Royal Naval Air Engineering Qualifications, but for sending them to TESP and asking for advice and feedback. On top of this she provided me with training material for my ECS SHE assessment. If that wasn’t enough she then contacted me with the TESP feedback and sought to provide me with a letter detailing there response for my ECS application. Utterly fantastic team and an absolute gem of a training facility.

Having met The Electrical Academy at the ELEX show I booked my 18th edition exam. The moment I arrived I was made to feel welcome and put at ease, which took away pre exam nerves, everything was explained clearly on how the exam would take place. Their facilities are excellent and I would highly recommend them to electricians, time served or new to the profession.

Lots of courses to choose from. The staff are very friendly, tutors are very knowledgeable and make things easy to understand. Kevin has a great way of teaching. Would recommend this training centre to all electricians or training electricians.

The assessor and the centre made me feel at ease throughout the process. I would recommend this to anyone else doing any electrical training.

Couldn’t recommend the electrical academy enough was struggling on a the conduit section on my am2 I had a 1-2-1 session with Colin who calmed me down and showed me where I was going wrong and plenty of tips also had input with a few other lecturers without everyone’s help I think I would still be trying to pass it now.

For anyone thinking about doing there am2 I would do it here if I had a choice. All equipment and tools brand new, centre is clean and modern, every single member of

The ladies in the Office are Friendly and Helpful.

Kevin is Very Direct and is a real Electrician. The Course Delivery is unfaultable in my opinion.

Passed with 98.3% on the multiple choice exam cannot Complain.

My experience at The Electrical Academy was like no other. All of the staff are very welcoming and I felt at home from the moment I stepped into the building. All of the training I have received from them has been fantastic. All of the lecturers are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you.

Having completed my AM2s and currently undertaking my 2391 the electrical academy is a nice calm environment where the tutors and staff make you feel welcome. Everyone is happy to help where they can which is perfect when carrying out these courses

The Electrical Academy stands head and shoulders above the rest. The training they provide is informative, professional and friendly. They teach in a way and at a pace that everyone understands. Always on hand to answer questions and genuinely want the best for everyone who walks through their door. I feel sorry for other people, unaware of The Electrical Academy, that are struggling with substandard course’s and tutors elsewhere. I have furthered my career because of these guys and have enjoyed every moment spent in there company.

I recently took my AM2 and 18th edition exam at the Electrical Academy, From the moment I stepped into the academy, I felt a warm welcome and was greeted by incredibly friendly staff who helped put my nerves at ease. They’re not just knowledgeable and professional; they’re also well-equipped and have a fantastic facility in Maidstone. Plus, they truly understand that their learners are individuals, not just numbers on a list.

I can’t recommend them highly enough. If you’re looking for a top-notch training experience, look no further. They’re the real deal!, I will be returning soon for further training.

I have done several qualifications with The Electrical Academy since they started several years ago. They are knowledgeable, professional, and well equipped. The facility in Maidstone is excellent and well located. Moreover, and most importantly they understand that their learners are people and not just numbers on a balance sheet. In my industry there is a need for continual professional development and at some time or another most of us have been to a poorly skilled and scantily equipped training centre and thought to ourselves “surely this could be done better”, well it can and these guys and girls have done it better. I don’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Also Can I say in this cynical world we find ourselves where praise is very rarely given especially when deserved , however my experiences and observations at your establishment is that Kev, Mark and the team deliver a professional , well delivered training for likeminded individuals that obviously thrive on the environment you all provide. This is from the first friendly “MORNING” when you walk through the door to the final “Don’t forget to revise ” when you sign out. It really is a pleasure to be there.

On a personal note for someone whom after completing his apprenticeship in 1987 , the finding himself within management 4 years later then finally getting back to the sharp end some 22 years later I cant tell you how daunting it was putting myself back into training , but I can’t Thank Kev enough as his delivery in both courses He was spot on even though I must of challenged his patients with some ridiculous questions the man has the patience of a saint .

So Thank you all and rest assured as my Company builds and I employ my first ( and only I hope ) place for training will be you guys

Came along way to do an AM2E found my nerves to be settled thanks to the friendly atmosphere and helpful nature of the academies team. I passed first time the test was fair to the point and not dismissive of concerns.
Great experience would go again if I needed to resit.

Have enjoyed my time at the academy and learnt so much in a short space of time, kevs teaching methods are exactly what I needed, unreal teacher.
Lani was always massively helpful and went above and beyond.
Will be coming back for sure.

My overall experience with the electrical academy has been first class, I wish this training provider was around when I was doing my level 2 & 3. The lecturers who actually care about your understanding of the electrical industry, and practices. I would thoroughly recommend anyone looking to get into the industry, or further their education further in the industry.
