Feel totally let down but this company.
Paid a deposit for a bed with balance due before delivery.
Harassed for balance and 3 weeks and 5 phone calls later on am still chasing my purchase.
Apparently a part is missing, apparently it’s not their fault the delivery company didn’t call me, I’ve not to ‘have a go’ at customer service when the don’t do anything or call you back when they say they will.
Obviously cannot comment on the product at this point as I am still waiting for it -14 weeks on.
Be cautious with this company.

We didn't even get past the samlpes. Samples never arrived.
Update: Samples arrived :) and a bed was ordered.

I have spent weeks looking for our ideal bed . I found and chose the English Bed Company because of its quality of product and also specifically because it is handmade in the UK and not shipped in from abroad . I requested samples from Nathan which arrived very quickly. I have now ordered my bed and await delivery. I have gone with bespoke as on the Bromley Bed I didn’t have room for the footboard . I am yet to see our purchase and experience the delivery . Nathan has assured us delivery before Christmas. We hope it does !

Communication was poor-felt like I had to chase constantly.
When I did call or email the response was vague or disinterested on the phone.
We were shocked to see 2 mattresses when the bed came.We had to go back into the website to see it said it would come like this.It did-but not clearly.We wouldn’t have ordered it if we knew this-we have the space to deliver the bed as a whole.We have bought a filler from Amazon for the bed to bridge the 2 sections as there was a noticeable dip.
The beds are comfortable and the frame is nice. But we were very disappointed to have 2 mattresses-this needs to be a lot clearer on your website.
Delivery was good and the men helpful and friendly.

Swiftly received my material samples in the post, along with a small catalogue and accompanying letter. Very impressed and would definitely consider buying my bed from here.

Samples were sent out really quickly and packaged securely. We also received a furniture brochure which was really handy as we’re about to move house so looking for lots of furniture inspiration.

Our samples arrived promptly inside a beautifully illustrated brochure.
Fabulous quality leather swatches and easy to read measurements etc.
The dark red (burgundy shade) looks stunning, as does the black.
We are looking for a quality sofa bed for when our redecoration has been completed next year.
The bolt on arm design really caught our eye, especially the art deco design.
This doesn’t look like a sofa bed, which fits the bill for us as we want to use it mostly as a sofa but with the flexibility to convert to a really comfy bed for occasional visitors.
Space is tight so removing the arms when converting the sofa to a bed will be perfect in our confined space.

Really good customer service, samples were generous and helpful

I ordered leather samples, they came promptly, good sizes to get the feel of what the colour leather would look like, in my living room.

Stunning fabric samples delivered withing 48 hours of ordering. Packaged in recyclable protective cardboard without plastic. I have chosen my fabric and look forward to ordering my new bed once I have moved house.

Very quick to respond in sending out samples.

Prompt delivery of samples, good selection of colours etc. As we were able to get samples we are going to order a bed.

I ordered the bed in 28th June, bed was completed 21/08/2023 the carrier collected 01/09/2023 was promised delivery several times by the carrier and it kept getting cancelled over a month later (Oct) i had too cancel the bed and get a refund and buy else where. To be fair English bed company they always answered the phones/emails but not happy with the service i have had no bed since June - don't order unless they have changed the carrier absolutely useless!!!

Finally a company that sends samples, quickly delivered and with a useful brochure included. Also a swift response from customer service when i enquired about some products details.
