I was able to get a lot of information from the tour operator Lalit from the start. And we were able to better plan our trip overall. Each day we had a different local guide. And each of them was on time, knowledgeable and took good care of us. Our driver Mukesh was especially good. There were quite a lot of traffic jams and road conditions were tough. Yet he stayed very calm and offered us the smoothest rides throughout. Highly recommended!

We visited Udaipur for a few days with Lalit as our tour guide. He was one of the best tour guides we’ve had as he was knowledgeable, entertaining, and easy going. After the trip, my wife and I remarked how we couldn’t believe how much we covered in a short period of time without feeling like it was a long march. He was a great conversationalist but knew when to engage and when to lay back. We visited the sites in an efficient manner but also saw great off-the-path places that were not saturated with tourists. I couldn’t recommend him enough.

This company appears to be a scam. I cannot even tell what the name of the company is. I cannot access any website, they tell me on the phone to give it 24 hours to reset but it doesn't. We will be trying to figure out how to get the info out so everyone knows it is a scam

I attended the zoom call and was promised a cruise if I attended the meeting. I have called 3 times and have yet to receive the cruise as promised. Now i'm glad I did not purchase.

Lalit was an excellent tour guide - so friendly and so passionate about the history of every place we visited. He made is easy for us to get around and was great at photo ops

We had an amazing experience doing the walking food tour of Delhi with Lalit.
We did the food tour one of our first days in Delhi and learnt so much!

Lalit was very knowledgeable about the food we tasted and the history behind it, customs and the history and etiquette of Delhi and we felt in very good hands as we were shown around the city tasting spectacular dishes and snacks.

We were also really happy as food enthusiasts that the tour was able to be targeted to our interests and that we were able to get so much out of the afternoon. On top of the great food experience we also got to try the Delhi metro as well as a rickshaw which navigated the busy narrow streets faster and more efficiently than cars could.

During the tour we were shown places and streets we would never have found ourselves and were especially fond of the spice market which was an experience for all of the senses.

Lalit is an excellent guide. His knowledge on Delhi, Agra and Jaipur made our tour interesting but also varied. He was able to accommodate our different requests around the tourist sites but also our shopping requirements! Lalit understands what a tourist in India is looking for. His pace on balancing our holiday and showing us the tourist sites meant that we had been able to relax through the 3 cities but also avoid congested venues. We were delighted with his restaurant recommendations and the information he has given us about future trips to India. He has a unique ability in supporting you through what can be a difficult bartering process, he is honest about what could be a price range to consider when buying items. Our holiday was enhanced by Lalit and his team as it took away some of the stresses around navigating 3 cities, long car drives and internal flights. We would love to use Lalit and his team for future trips to India.

Lalit was an excellent guide around Delhi. His expertise and knowledge was exceptional. He was very thoughtful, helpful and had a lovely energy.
We would highly recommend him.

With this experience, my point of view of India change completely! It was a fantastic adventure with my friends and we discover a beautiful country with a lot of friendly people!

Trip of a lifetime! Everything far exceeded my expectations - the logistics were flawless, we had a super comfortable bus, and an amazing driver. Our guide, Lalit, was extremely competent and his stories greatly enriched our experience. The itinerary was superbly organized, meeting the needs of all members of our group and maintaining some flexibility. The choice of hotels was excellent. The sites were incredible and the visits very enjoyable as we did not have to wait in line anywhere and our guide knew all the best angles for photos and stories. If you go to India, go with Epic Journeys!

Without Lalit and his company "The epic journeys" I would never have come to India. As a woman travelling alone, I had great respect for this country.
Lalit planned my five-week trip and hired a driver for me, who drove me through the entire north in a very knowledgeable, friendly and safe way.
It was pure luxury that I didn't have to worry about anything.
Nevertheless, it was not a luxury trip. Both were very responsive to my desire to experience real Indian life.
For me, it was a perfect mix of impressive sights and nature, as well as great encounters with people.

The overall experience was excellent. The tour was well planned and organized. Lalit was courtesy and gave excellent commentary. He was always willing to answer questions and offer interesting commentary about India’s history and culture. We did not have to wait in any lines as Lalit organized the admissions process efficiently.

Ok - you want my honest take? The Epic team provided the best bespoke tour experience I’ve ever been on, and their humanity and attention to detail made my family’s first trip to India so enjoyable. They took our broad vision for the trip, as well as our budget and timing parameters, and turned it into an stress-free, comfortable, informative, authentic and relaxed journey of discovery in a new country and cultural environment. I really can’t recommend The Epic Journeys enough for any trip, anywhere in India. I will definitely be calling them again soon for another adventure.

I can’t speak highly enough about our trip! Our driver picked us up at the hotel in Delhi early in the morning and we drove down to Agra. Once in the city, we met our guide Asif, who brought us to the Taj. His knowledge of the history of the region was amazing and he really made the city and the monument come alive for us. Having Lalit and Epic Journeys coordinate the day for us was amazing - the driver and guide were friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and made our visit one that we’ll remember forever.

A Truly Unforgettable India Adventure!

From start to finish, our India trip was an absolute blast! Our guide was simply amazing—knowledgeable, personable, and always ready with a fun fact or two (or ten). The organization was spot-on, and everything ran smoother than we ever expected. No hiccups, no stress—just pure enjoyment!

Our driver and co-driver were beyond responsible. They handled India’s chaotic traffic with the grace of seasoned pros, all while keeping a calm demeanor (which, let me tell you, is no small feat in some of those traffic jams). I felt safe and cared for every step of the way.

The selection of excursions was brilliant. We got to see all the must-see spots and hidden gems—whether it was a breathtaking temple, a lively market, or a serene sunset by the river, there was always something new and exciting. I can’t recommend this trip enough. If you’re looking for an adventure that mixes culture, fun, and a touch of humor, this is the one!
