The information, education and support of the Fast800 team is second to none. It is not just an eating plan BUT a complete lifestyle review and transformation if you choose it to be. From diet, nutrition, exercise, mental health, healthy products and medical updates, this really is the complete package. The fact that is was founded by Dr Mike Mosley and continues to be overseen by his foundation and family members is reassuring that the advice is trustworthy.

I have previously followed 800 calorie programmes that were largely based around shakes. You lose weight but they don't transition you to long term eating habits.

The Fast800 is different. You eat proper, healthy meals. Even though I was only having 800 calories, I did not feel hungry. My wife also had many of the same meals but added ingredients to her meals to increase her calorie intake. That worked well.

Once I got to a healthy BMI, the Fast800 transitions you to normal, healthy eating.

The recipes they provide are tasty, healthy and varied. I love them.

You need to be organised, especially if you have a busy life.

I'd recommend the Fast800 to anyone.

I loved the recipes the guidance and encouragement. Lost 8 kgs in the 12 weeks and now on 5:2. Stable and still inching down.

I find that the products are fantastic - especially the Keto Hot Chocolate! The Customer Support is simply TERRIBLE. On several occasions, I have tried to place orders when there is a promotion but have never managed to obtain the offer! I have sent emails to the that effect and have NEVER received an acknowledgement or explanation.

Really enjoying the things you can make from the shakes. My favourite is the strawberry cheese cake smoothie. They are filling too which is good.

I joined the Fast 800 plan around last May with the intention of embracing the 12 weeks. This was on the back of being a loyal follower of Dr Michael Mosely, having bought and read all his books, watched his science based documentaries and followed his you tube videos etc.
Due to work commitments and personal challenges I was not in the correct head space to make optimum use of the programme.
I contacted the company to explain my dilemma and to ask to suspend the programme for a number of weeks to allow my mental health to recuperate. I was told the programme runs how it runs, no interruptions, no room for interruptions, in very flowery customer service terminology.
To add insult insult to injury, when my 12 weeks finished I did not retain access to the programmes materials, lists or advice. I was completely shut out of a product I had paid for.
More money was required if I wished to regain access.
This system , to me is not in the spirit of all Michael Mosely taught me. He was health for all, not just for the wealthy.
Be aware that you will not retain access to recipies etc .After the 12 weeks and if you have a life event and fall away from the programme that's on you!!
I am disappointed. I came across the app this morning on my phone and on reading other 1 star reviews I find others have had the same demoralising experience. I don't want a refund,I'm not looking for money back. I entered into it with good intention. I was hoping for some compassion and understanding. Both were sadly lacking. This is what happens when business overrules science!!!!

Who knew The FAST 800 did a complete exercise programme too? I didn’t realise, I thought it was just for weight loss but there’s much more, it’s like having a personal coach for meals and exercise.

Plus there’s informative articles + sleep tips & soothing mindfulness meditation videos if that’s your thing.

On their social media The FAST 800 seems to be only about the food aspect, but there’s a whole balanced programme of home exercises too - via the excellent website videos. Weights, stretches, pilates, HIIT, etc.
I only discovered this when joining up (paying) to the The FAST 800 website programme.

I’ve already achieved my goal weight a year ago in June 2024 on Dr Michael Moseley’s FAST 800 TRE. So now I’m using the website for ongoing weight maintenance and also the daily exercise videos and the meals recipes to inspire me and keep my diet varied.

This whole programme is presented clearly and updated each day on your personal page so you can come to it and plan your day, meals & exercise. You can personalise it and plan next week’s meals.

There’s plenty of clear guidance videos to help you to navigate and find your way around on the website. Plus a community group and many other topic groups.

The website is very well designed, accessible and enjoyable to use.

My suggestion: I just think they could advertise that there’s a whole other Exercise aspect to FAST 800. It’s great for people who need a home exercise option because they can’t get to a gym.

The only meal plan thats really worked for me since Ive gone into perimenopause! Its achievable targets for activity, mindfulness, meals that are tasty. A very cost effective price also. Highly reccomend!

I am finding the Fast 800 products helpful in conjunction with the recipes from the Fast 800 recipe book.
I have tried some of the shakes, the peanut protein bar and the apple & blackcurrant drink , which I particularly like.
Ordering and delivery is easy and quick.
I have lost weight and I have managed to curb my sugar cravings.

The products I ordered arrived the next day and they are delicious. They provide a quick filling snack or lunch on the go.

I have lost 12.6 kg in 10 weeks, mostly using the shakes + low carb veggies or a meal from the meal plan. The shakes are filling and keep me going at least 4 hours, if not more. I’ve had plenty of energy and plan to include the shakes as part of my diet forever, for weekday breakfasts (quick and easy before leaving for work) and fast days when I start the 5:2 diet. Unlike other shakes, the Fast 800 shakes are low in sugar and high in fibre, and don’t taste artificial.

Don’t get me wrong, the fast 800 diet is great! This review is about the company, specifically the 12 week plan.

Last year I had great success using the books and doing it alone. Then my mam took ill and it all went out the window. I had been struggling to get back into it and thought the plan would a good way to get motivated again. You get one week free and I had read that I could cancel at any time, so took the plunge. Unfortunately the plan was not for me. The meal plans seemed great in the first week, but I got almost the same menu the second and third week. I was having to scroll to find any variety. There is no way to enter off plan meals, the advice in a chat group was to get a second party app to track your meals! Surely if I’m paying for this I shouldn’t need a second party app? I’m not a fan of the group chats, so they don’t help me much and the last post from the ‘health coach’ was 5 months ago. The exercises were ok, but you can get better on YouTube for free. The learning was nothing new, it’s just what I’ve already read in the books. Oh and I got a generic email once a week.

This may be great for some people, but not for me. I tried to cancel (just as I started week4) and was told I can’t. I can cancel the plan anytime, but just the follow on plan. I had to cancel the 12 week plan in the first 14 days, otherwise I have to pay the whole £90!

I’m extremely disappointed. I have always love Michael Mosley and his books. However this is now just a business, making as much money as it can. The died does work, but the £30 a month plan is just a waste of money. If the company truly believed the plan was worth it they would let you cancel at any time, because if it is so great why would anyone want to cancel?

Signed up to this on the understanding I could cancel. Unfortunately my mum died and I didn’t cancel my subscription straight away and now I have to pay for 3 months that’s £90. I cancelled within the first month so not happy - read the small print folks.

I ordered a few products to try to up my protein and fibre intake. Unfortunately I cannot use either product or the free bag of coffee that came with the order.
The Cloudy Apple has a very strong chemical taste and makes me catch my breath when I open the bag, the Lemon Sleep Blend is very bitter and has a chemical taste. The Keto coffee tastes nothing like coffee, the only flavour I could detect was coconut but it is not pleasant to drink. It's a shame there is nowhere on the product page to leave a review, it might have stopped me wasting my money. I would have expected more natural tasting products from this company. I also ordered the chocolate shake and the raspberry bars, the bars are OK, the chocolate shake was the product I would purchase again, it does taste quite pleasant.

Really helps when on the Fast 800 plan. Great tasting, easy to use, and fast delivery.

Banana & Vanilla shakes purchased as well as bars. The shakes have far healthier ingredients compared to other brands but they are quite unpleasant to drink. Fairly tasteless & nasty bits in them. The bars are fine. I will persevere because they weren’t cheap but won’t buy again.

I purchased the apple black currant protein drink; it's lovely but I found it a little on the sweet side & feel it needs a little less stevia. The apple gut biome drink is sensational and this is my 2nd purchase of that. I also purchased vanilla protein shake but have not tried that yet.

The shakes are easy to make, and very filling so you don't feel hungry. They come in several flavours and the salted caramel and the coffee were my favourites.

Great shakes, they don't mix up gluggy and thick, great tasting and keep you full for ages!
