Three issues with this company

Three issues with this company.
1) I ordered a two for one set of muslin blankets (a special deal) along with matching pillowcases (not special deal). I ordered two different colors, a celadon green and a purple that was represented as a deep purple-brown color. When I received the package (another story) I was shocked to see that the purple was very, very far from being the deep brown purple that was on the website. Instead it was a shocking bright violet-purple! Gahhhh! When I went to ask about returns, I was in contact with a customer service agent named Amber, who was pleasant, but she reiterated company policy that there are no exchanges --- only returns and reorders. This is literally the first company I have ever dealt with that does not accept exchanges and insists on reorders! Worse, since it was a two for one special, they insist on returning BOTH rather than simply the one I wanted to exchange. So there is that. (I am happy to pay for remailing one and a modest restocking fee; not at all happy to be paying for returning both).
Second, this company, while not saying so directly, represents itself as being in the United States. ("Orders placed in the United States are filled within one to two days"). Not true. This company's REAL name is "Shunfeng International E-Commerce" (my direct translation from the chinese). It is a Chinese company that *ships from China* through a middleman of some sort named Lee at an address in Hawthorne CA. I have the address sticker for confirmation of this. The package went through customs at LAX. Once you see this, it makes sense that the package took more like two weeks to arrive than several days that one would have imagined from its claim to fill orders in one to two days.

The quality of the blankets seem OK. I had been looking forward to this purchase. But the Fleece Company is very misleading in its advertising. it is NOT a US based company. It has a restrictive policy on returns (it does not do exchanges). This is probably a function of the Fleece Company's software fields and how they are set up rather than anything deliberate, but the refusal to accept exchanges does not align with good practice in US based mail order companies, which actually promote exchanges rather than returns.
3) Upon opening the blankets and the pillowcases, -- I ordered queen sizes, I was shocked to see that a) the pillowcases fit no known size of pillow --- long and skinny, utterly useless and the blankets themselves are not even single size. they are more the size of small throws. Utter, utter rip off. Let us hope that the return doesn't cost an arm and a leg, but I am not sanguine.

Caveat Emptor! You have been warned.

UPDATE: I am attaching the response from this company so that all can see how pro forma and worse than useless it is. ...

Now, on the face of this it sounds reasonable. Except that this company markets heavily to the US. Its product shipped from China via a middleman in El Segundo through LAX. So why on earth would the returns be in GERMANY? IF the main market is the US (as seems to be the case), there can only be one reason: to prevent as many as possible from ever returning a faulty, misdescribed product. The air postage plus the tracking wipes out whatever refund one might receive. This is completely unacceptable and I am beyond furious.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE SCAM ARTISTS

DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE SCAM ARTISTS. They advertise their blankets as "Full" "Queen" "King" - they are all small throw blankets. Then when you try to return the blankets you get the runaround from an AI Bot - or even better - you get to speak to someone from the Third World through Whats App. What legitimate business uses Whats App? These people are PURE SCUM.

Difficult to return items

I ordered the fleece blanket from The Fleece Company. The size was much smaller than expected for a full-size bed. When I requested a return authorization, they wanted me to submit pictures of me measuring the blanket before going further. After submitting the pictures showing the item smaller than advertised, the company basically said I could return the item and pay shipping to Germany. Will not order from this company again.

Buyer be informed !

Buyer be informed! I Rarely leave a review.. Product is not as represented .. put together as cheaply as possible.. a stitched edge of no substance. They call it a “ blanket “ but it’s like a stretchy sheet .. came stuffed in a plastic bag like junk! . All this said. If you want to return.. Unless you live near Germany forget it.. they require tracking etc which is a small fortune .. So not a viable option.. I didn’t think a company could legally do that to its customers.. i will be Much more Careful in future! Safe Shopping Everyone 🇺🇸♥️🕊🙏🏻🇺🇸

Size different than expected

I ordered a queen size blanket expecting it to cover a queen size bed. They sent me a blanket that was smaller than expected (it looked like a throw). After some frustrating back and forth with customer service, they made it right. Be careful with the sizing!

Good Customer Service

I wanted to return the blankets since I did not need them anymore. The customer service team gave me a 50% refund so I would not have to deal with shipping the product back.

Very comfortable

The Pyjamas are really nice to wear comfortable and look nice. The muslin texture is in combination with the blanket just top in summer. Also the delivery was without any problems and in a reasonable time. Thanks a lot I will definitely come back when I need anything else.
