The nursing staff was very nice and caring but the administration was appalling. My husband was booked in for an operation. They told us about the date only 2 days before the op. I need to mention that I phoned them , they did not contact me. Then they cancelled it on the day itself ( he was all prepared for it) because it was too risky as he is elderly and frail. This could have been avoided as they had his note all along. We have been waiting for the refferal back to the JR Hospital . Our GP phoned us to tell us that they had sent the referral only yesterday which is one month after they should have done it! This is delaying considerably the operation date . Appalling service. I certainly would not recommend it

I have nothing but praise for the New Foscote hospital in Banbury. I was recently admitted for an inguinal hernia repair procedure and all of the staff were very helpful and caring.
Mr Riaz who performed the procedure has done a fantastic job as I am back to normal being able to walk without discomfort and go about my daily physical activities as normal.
