The Fun Singles does not provide what they promised.
I waited over 45 minutes and was never connected to someone in even the same state. Their customer support was totally inadequate. Their website is difficult to navigate.
While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

I was ready to fall for the scam when they asked for my credit card then I realized that it wasn’t what it was then I looked at reviews and they were negative. Quite frankly I’m glad I read the reviews because I was going to attend until they asked for money. Then I noticed there were 5 people registered. No go!
Nothing local, all across US and did not even filter by my criteria so half the calls were from same sex. Total waste of time and money. they try and be legit but TOTAl SCAM.
Steer clear! Found their events in Eventbrite, and thought it cheaper and easier than driving into the city. Literally thought we would virtually greet as a group, and then do the speed dating thing. There’s supposedly an event host! However, you are randomly connected with anyone that signed up in the country, which they won’t tell you will happen until an event starts. So I ended up skipping *everyone*. No refunds. They ironically gave me a couple free months. After trying a couple events with the same experience, A waste of money…
Scam! They advertise local online speed dating, but none of your matches are even in the same state!!!! No customer service replies either
I joined the speed dating last Friday with kind of a low expectation. It was an online speed dating and I was expecting a zoom call type of thing. It ended up being a bunch of one on one calls. I got connected with nine guys on nine different one on one calls. That was much better than the group zoom call I was imagining. I do a lot of zoom group meeting for work :). Three of those calls where out of state. I'm not interested in long distance, but one of them was from LA and I visit LA often for work. I got four matches and looks like will be going out on a few actual dates!! :) Overall it was good, I like it. I would give five stars if I got more local matches...
Advertised as a way to meet local singles, but instead it was random people all over the country. Very misleading ad. Have to hand it to their marketing team and UI developers though.
No response to the online "support" chat.
Requesting refund through credit card issuer....at least they won't let me down.
UPDATE: Support never, ever reached out, or even responded to chat, and instead they double charged me. Now I have to work through this with credit card issuer.
This site was advertised as local metro area for online site dating, which by itself is a good thing. Reality is that they define a time window where everyone can join and there is no filtering on locality. End result is that you'll be paired with people all around US and also not in the age range specified. I met people from NY, MN, LA and more, I'm based in Texas. I subscribed for 3 months and after my second participation and realizing this was not as advertised I wrote their support team requesting a partial refund (2 month out of the three I already paid), no answer. I'm not going to join it anymore and I'm afraid I'll not get a refund. Feel scammed. My recommendation is to stay away from a service that doesn't deliver on its promises.
TOTAL SCAM. Bait-and-switch, false advertising! In order to attend an event, you have to buy a "subscription". Then, you order tickets for the events you want. Mine was for Seattle, this evening at 8pm. I signed in to the site half an hour early to test the microphone and camera, and kept getting flooded with popup video calls, even though the event hadn't started yet. I texted the provided number for support, and their answer was that if the "app" (website) couldn't find anyone within the designated age range and city, that it would connect me with people in other cities and other ages. Why on earth would it be useful for someone to match in a completely different state, in a disparate age group? The whole point of the event was that it was for a specific location and age range. They refuse to provide (or even respond to requests for) a refund, though.
Booked as meeting locals in your area, 90% were from several states away. Couple were frustrated as they too booked the event for their city and assumed they would meet pple closeby. Not true. ok to chat with people but was interested in mtg pple nearby.
fraudulent/false advertising. they tell you you're signing up for an event in your city then show you an rsvp list of the members you will meet. then when the event starts everyone you meet is thousands of miles from your city and none of them are from the rsvp list. complete scam. DO NOT SIGN UP.
