Under new management, The Fun Drum at Elm Court village is one of Kents oldest & loved indoor soft play centres. We have three separate age appropriate play areas for children and their parents to enjoy. We recently had a Brand new 0 to 2 year old play area which we are really proud of. Our Fun Drum Cafe serves up delicious hot and cold food to order & we have an exciting new menu plus we have a range of coffees made with freshly ground beans to order. With ride on quad style electric cars on our very own race track to test your young ones early driving skills, our famous drop slide, rope bridges, there's just so much to do. We have a baby change room, free car park, disable permit parking spaces also, free lockers for your personal belongings. We can't wait to welcome you all to the new improved Fun Drum - the place where memories are made!

A fantastic inclusive play centre.

I am a support worker for children who are neurodivergent and we absolutely love it here. I come to Fun Drum every week if not twice a week with the children I support. All staff are welcoming, friendly, helpful and inclusive. When any of the children become dysregulated/stressed, they are so understanding and supportive. I have been to a number of soft play centres in Medway and have had bad experiences with their lack of inclusivity and have had to leave due to situations escalating.
I've never had a bad experience at Fun Drum ever.......best soft play area in this area. We have also attended their exclusive SEN sessions which are amazing and well organised! Keep up all the good work you are so appreciated by us carers/parents. ***** wonderful place to visit*****

The fun drum, major refurb!

The fun drum has newly opened after a 3 week refurb.
Wow! You can clearly see time, effort and money has gone into this play area. It has a new Tiny Town for under 6's filled to the brim with toys, play houses so much to do to inspire the imagination & creative role play. Honestly it's so good.... i had a few health and safety concerns though, the play area itself within the Tiny town was awesome.
There's a new Nerf Gun War Arena (birthday party package only, not notified of this on website or on arrival) this area is amazing! Its a shame none of the children could access it.
Theres a new slide area also which has actually taken away valuable seating, it was standing room only!
Theres an extensive cafe menu, quite expensive actually we bought a burger, wasn't told it didn't come with chips or a drink... so £7 for a burger was expensive
I did like the fact the loos has little toilets for little legs
Birthday party rooms, arcade area
Honestly we could've spent a lot longer than 2 hours there.
You can book online or turn up on the day which didnt work well, it was far too busy, no parking left, no tables & no chairs.
It's accessible to gain access to the building with a small disable toilet for a patron whom can self transfer, but not a lot of room to manoeuvre around the tables and chairs. I wouldn't bring my child who is a full time
Wheelchair user here.
I did like the new staff clothing change. Bright pink easy to identify with the logo on front and staff written across their backs. I don't think I've ever seen so many members of staff there also engaging with the children whom were playing.
All in all a fab 2 hours out, i would just make a few safety changes to the tiny Town area.
I didn't like the fact that the main staff desk was unmanned with the safety gate wide open straight out to the car park...
