The task was to replace a gas fire with an electric one and then to swap an old gas fire with the one just replaced. Vic was very friendly, polite, tidy and went the extra mile to do a great job. I hsve no hesitation in recommending the Gas Shop and Vic does excellent work.
Having had numerous issues with my Rangemaster cooker since it was delivered, brand new, from the factory eight years' ago, I decided to contact The Gas Shop. Their engineer arrived and solved two of the three problems, the third problem taking a little longer as parts had to be ordered - but now resolved to my complete satisfaction. In fact, my cooker now works better than it has ever worked. I had no need to progress chase (unusual in this day and age!) and I felt totally confident leaving everything in their hands. I am an extremely happy customer and cannot recommend The Gas Shop enough. I'm very relieved that I chose not to use one of the companies I had considered from the internet.
Absolutely amazing service, called at 8am for our elderly parents who had no heating and even though we were a new customer an engineer was there the same day and fixed the issue. He then also spent time explaining the system and gas fire to our dad, even labelling different dials so he wouldn't get confused. It's that kind of service that sets company's apart from the others. Just had new boiler and 2 radiators changed. Excellent professional service from start to finish. The installers Ben Will and apprentice Josh were all very professional neat and tidy and always polite. They are an asset to the company. Nice to use a company that still has the customer at the centre. Will not hesitate to use again well done!
We discovered that out boiler had stopped working with a fault code this morning so we had no heat or hot water. The Gas Shop had somebody here within 2 hours who did a very thorough job and fixed a fault that had been slowly (but secretly) developing over a long time. We've used them a few times over the last few years and have always been delighted with their service; they are in a completely different league to British Gas.

When one of my gas fires stopped working I sent an email to The Gas Shop. Simon replied quickly and made an appointment to call in the next day. He came on time and gave me a quotation to supply and install a new fire. Ryan came on time and did an excellent job in fitting the new fire. They were both polite and helpful and I was very pleased with the service and would recommend.
