Alan and Lesley began The Good Bag Co in 2006 after seeing so many plastic bags available and damaging the environment and wildlife. They decided to create an alternative which would be practical and enjoyable to use. Alan injected his wicked sense of humour into the vivid designs and characters you can see on the bags and between them they developed the business into the successful brand it is today. Unfortunately Lesley passed away in 2013, The Good Bag Co has been a little quieter but due to Alans resilience and dedication to Lesleys memory and what they had built together we are now firing on all cylinders to bring you some bright new bags , mugs, cards and aprons and hope that when you buy one of them you will remember the lovely lady who was inspired to make it happen.

Good Bags travel to USA

I just received my two bags in today’s mail.Two years ago I was visiting the Lake District and ran into your shop.....and fell in love with it. I purchased 2 bags for my daughters in the United States. I recently saw my daughters using the bags, and decided I wanted one for myself and my hair dresser. The
bag pictures are clever and make one happy ( with all the trump mess in the United States, we need to get all the happy we can enjoy!) The bags are sturdy and hold many items. I hope to continue to shop online for more, I may put more of your bags out in the United States,

I would recommend

I have used the good bag company a number of times over the years and the bags are still going strong the small Xmas ones I bought For my Grand bairns , there mum uses them to keep treats in. Service and delivery is excellent. Price is very reasonable and bags are very sturdy.

Such fun bags and prompt delivery to Australia

I bought some of these bags when on holidays and my elderly mum was staying with us for a few days and she saw the bags and commented that she really liked them. I ordered some online and hadn’t told her because I thought they would take a while to come from the UK to Mackay in Queensland, Australia but she phoned me all excited because she had just received the surprise in the mail. So excellent delivery in just over 1 week and you made my mum so happy to receive them. Thanks!

Love these bags!

I love these bags. I like the flat bottom. They hold a lot and are attractive. People notice them I gave one to my friends in Arizona so that's why I am replacing it.

Good service

I bought 2 bags as presents for 2 of my granddaughters from the shop in Grasmere and when I got home I decided that I needed 2 more for the other two so went on to the website. The service was fantastic, they came so quickly, I was very pleased, thank you!
