I completed a 12 week social media internship with The Grad Soc alongside my digital marketing degree. The internship gave me the opportunity to work with fintech startup VitraCash where I was able to create social media content for them and also pitch a marketing campaign to the brand. As well as having the opportunity to create work for a real company, the mentorship from George and Shona and the Grad Soc was amazing! Throughout the 12 weeks I was guided through content creation, employability skills, how to create my own personal brand and so much more. I can’t recommend The Grad Soc enough!

The Grad Soc helped develop my skills over a short period of time, enabled me to get involved with content creation, campaign development, presentation feedback and loads more.

As someone who had a limited experience in business and marketing, I really enjoyed doing a 6-week Business and Marketing internship at The Grad Soc. I gained so much experience in such a short space of time.

Everything I learned during this internship, from what it takes create a great campaign to the importance of personal branding, was invaluable. George and Shona were also very supportive. The CV and LinkedIn sessions I had with them blew my mind! If someone wants a deeper insight into what business and marketing entails, I highly recommend this internship.

My internship experience with The Grad Soc was great. Shona and George were very friendly and allowed me to take initiative. I learnt how to use Canva to create social media posts and had the opportunity to plan and launch a two-week marketing campaign. It's a really valuable and fun experience and something that has been mentioned in my interviews. I recommend the internship to anyone wanting to try something different.

Everyone needs to do an internship with The Grad Soc! With hands on help from the Head of Creative and CEO, you feel supported every step of the way. Giving you hands on experience of using tools like Canva and Trello that help you take your campaign from conception to fruition, you receive feedback that will help make your campaign better. It also gives you such useful metrics you can add to your CV when applying for jobs!

I had a great experience at The Grad Soc, and I recommend it to any student who wants to land a job. Their programme helps you build the confidence and skills you need to advance your career while meeting fun and interesting people. As an intern, you don't learn only about the technical side of planning, designing and delivering a campaign but also the soft skills you need to navigate an interview and work environment. I benefited from George's and Shona's mentoring sessions, and I'm grateful for all the suggestions and feedback. The Grad Soc has definitely helped me in so many ways.
