Came into this program after losing my job. Having been a pharmacist for over 16 years with residency training and extensive experience, did not want to hop into and possibly get stuck in the retail hole. Career coaches and various modules helped get my resume and interview skills regeared to get staged to try and obtain one of those "unicorn" roles while also getting me positioned to maybe get a bridge role. During this process, Alex (founder and CEO) reached out and offered 1:1 support given my situation of needing to get employment ASAP. He took out his own time to meet with me on a weekly basis and provide additional coaching along with everything else the program provides. This additional help got me moving in the right direction and, within 2 months, helped me get into a decent bridge role (not the remote "unicorn" position but in my case, employment was the primary goal). Grateful for the HPD team and their efforts and they have my highest praise and recommendation to pharmacists looking for a career transition or find themselves in my position.

Even as a pharmacy student, I found Alex’s webinar incredibly insightful. While the program is geared toward pharmacists, the key points Alex shared on breaking into the industry were highly valuable. I’m glad I stayed until the end and had a meaningful conversation with him. I highly recommend this to any pharmacist looking to transition into a new functional area.

Alex and his crew at Happy PharmD have created a step-by-step, week-by-week program to help type-A pharmacists get their dream jobs. I was most impressed by his master classes on all aspects of the job search process from networking and resume crafting, to interviewing and beyond. I sincerely believe that Alex is a visionary - he's a natural leader and communicator, and isn't afraid to shift into big picture philosophical thinking to help frame a situation during a group session.

Since working with the Happy PharmD (HPD), I no longer feel stuck. Alex and his team helped me hone strong networking skills, rediscover what I enjoy doing, and guided me in my job application journey. I have since found a great job in psychiatric pharmacy. I no longer work weekends and there's opportunity for growth. I'm grateful to HPD and all they've done for me!

Before joining the program, I felt completely stuck. I was mindlessly applying to hundreds of jobs, going on interviews, and either getting rejected or offers I wasn’t excited about. It was exhausting and discouraging.

What made the biggest difference was how the program helped me get clear on what I actually wanted. Instead of blindly applying, I started focusing only on roles I could truly see myself in. The coaching wasn’t just about career strategy, it was a lot of personal development too. It felt almost like therapy at times, helping me work through my fears and self-doubt.

With that support, I was able to step outside of retail pharmacy and transition into a hospital role, even without prior experience. I also learned how to communicate more confidently, from writing better applications to negotiating my offer.

Now, I don’t dread going to work like before, and the work actually aligns with my interests. This experience helped me both professionally and personally.
