Great care with the nutritional practitioner. Classes were helpful for my sleep issues. Overall support was good 👍

The experience was made by the information supplied online specifically for me as it regarded diet and nutrition. That was the biggest plus for me. My counselor provided excellent guidance and was quite prompt at answering any of my questions. I found the videos helpful and interesting. If anything, there was SO much information, sometimes it seemed overwhelming to keep track on best practices. But, I don't say that as a negative. It does show how much you can get from investing in your health in this manner. Also, a huge plus for providing motivation and spiritual guidance.

I have been following Dr. Axe's health plan for three months. I don't do everything perfectly because of my crazy work schedule, but I do try to stick with the basic diet rules and take my supplements regularly. My health issues mostly have disappeared, I've lost 12 lbs and feel great!.
In the past, I tried several other diet and exercise programs, but nothing worked long term.
I really like that Dr. Axe shares the science behind our personalized diet, this helps me to understand the "why" I'm eating in this new somewhat strange way (for me), so that encourages me to continue, Also having a " practitioner " to guide me along the way was very helpful and encouraging.
The only drawback I see, is the cost. I believe it is a little steep for only 4 months.
I encourage everyone to figure out how to fit "your plan" into your lifestyle and stick to it. The benefits are worth it!

I have tried to fill out the form for your blood testing. It will not let me complete the form. Will not take my card date? Tried 3 times!

About 6 months ago I was tired, unmotivated, and not feeling like myself. I decided to choose me. To eat better, move more, sleep more, and speak kinder to myself. It wasn't easy.
There were setbacks, cravings, and tears.
But every small choice added up. I'm not where I want to be yet, but I'm so much healthier, happier, and stronger than I was
- mentally and physically. And I'm so proud of that.
Starting this program has been the best decision I’ve made.

I must say I did not follow protocol most of the last few weeks but I will say bc of the supplements and the things I did follow correctly for the first few months, I stopped having gas. My digestive issues started to correct themselves and I felt the best I've felt in a long time, also I had candida that was turning my toenails with white or dark and then falling off and now they are completely normal and look amazing. This plan works if you work it. When I started eating badly or are something I shouldn't I could tell. I trust this program and believe in it more than myself making decisions for myself.

Ashley was great in helping us understand the program. I have high hopes of getting help for my physical issues, after years of trying so many different things.

I am in Phase 3 of this program and I have to say that I'm feeling great! I was just spinning my wheels with my weight and not sleeping. I couldn't handle bright lights, loud noises and socializing; I just felt a sick anxiety that I can't even describe. And I lived with heartburn and poor digestion. As of now, I am down 10 pounds and I can function normally again. I can eat all the protein and vegetables without feeling sick and my glucose, which was high, is leveling out. Over all, I can recommend this program to anyone!

I really love the one on one work I get with Sachi Sarin. She has been very helpful in my health journey. And the comprehensive blood test that picks up things that normal blood test don’t.

I’m new here, I started taking the supplements on July 14th, and my digestion and energy levels have improved. I’ve learned a lot from all the information on the portal, and I’m so grateful for the guidance from my Nutrition Practitioner!

I had a very good experience and feel so much better after completing the program. I had so many food restrictions when I entered the program and now I don't have any restrictions. I learned so much about health, food, gut health, wellness and more. I am grateful.

Personal support! That helped me the most since it can take a long time to see improvement due to the human body being so complex. Multiple ways to ask questions and even ways to hear others’ questions that I hadn’t thought of were very helpful, also. Encouragement based in factual knowledge and not just for cheering me on helped me change my lifestyle. I lost 8 lbs and am continuing to lose the brain fog while my energy is returning! Michaela helped keep me on track and guilt-free.

This program is designed to be instructive, supportive, and filled with many different ways for the learning to take place. The monthly calls are so very helpful, being able to interact with a person. The information in the videos is priceless. I go back and listen to them over and over. I have learned so much, have worked through digestive and sleep issures and am so very grateful for the changes made in my life. It is something I will continue for the rest of my life.

I loved the health institute longevity program. I felt way better about myself and think I’ll live a healthier life in my old age than my parents.

I didn't like finding out that I spent $8k for a program that I medically was ineligible for since I take an immunomodultor for my Lupus (per their guidelines) and that I couldn't have the blood work done because NYS wouldn't allow me to ship it out of state. Right from the start I was behind the eight ball. Once I investigated the supplement ingredients and realized that there was at least one adaptogenic mushroom that I should not take, I realized that was why my gut pain was getting worse. Thank God for my practitioner who took me off all of their supplements and had me get 2 products that have done the trick. I watched some of the live presentations but found them to be too overwhelming with information. I felt like I was being forced down a rabbit hole chasing after every supplement and new-age thought that came along...just too much.
I did learn some valuable things though. I learned that bone broth helps heal the gut lining; cooked vegetables are gentler on the stomach; green tea isn't so bad and vegan cheese is pretty good. However, organ meats will NEVER touch these lips and avocados still suck and fish is gross. Unfortunately, these were not popular opinions based on the volume of people trying to convince me otherwise.
All in all, my opinion is equivocal. I had a great practitioner but I should've had a partial refund because the bulk of the program was a bust for me and I should not have been brought into the program. All the company did was extend my program one more month. 🙄

This program demonstrated the doctors’ sincere commitment to empowering people to achieve their best possible health and live fuller, higher‑quality lives. They not only explained what to do, but also why each step matters.
The assigned readings, videos, and supportive community helped me understand the many dimensions of healthier living — including how to manage areas that are still challenging and how to maintain faith and trust as I continue moving forward.
The nurse practitioners’ partnership and guidance were invaluable. Their encouragement, thoughtful suggestions, and willingness to address every question made the experience even more meaningful.

INITIAL PROBLEM: Broken digestive system (symptom: LPR)
I found out last fall that I had LPR from a video on TikTok about the two kinds of acid reflux. Stick with me here, I'm not saying diagnose yourself from TikTok or any other social media post. They are great tools that bring awareness to things you may never be exposed to otherwise. I researched, spoke to my primary care, and a specialty doctor that confirmed it. I was told I had LOW stomach acid and prescribed a PPI to LOWER my stomach acid. I sat in my car after the appointment and could not make it make sense, I was scared because of how long I suspicioned I had this condition. Under duress, I took the prescribed PPI for about a month and had some odd changes to my body. I discontinued and stuck with doing all the normal suggestions (not eating 3 hours before bed, sleeping with head elevated). I kept thinking about my digestion, and how it must be the key to why I was "doing all the right things" (eating healthy & exercising regularly) and saw such minimal results. What broke my digestive system? I have a couple ideas, but I don't know that I'll ever really know. Probably a combination of things. I do know that it can be fixed!
SOLUTION: The Health Institute.
I have followed Dr Axe for years and I recently started noticing the cellular bloodwork analysis ad and kept going to the site and reading about it every so often. Dr Axe is a "root cause" doctor. I love his approach to wellness and wish this was the standard for care. Even if you ONLY do the bloodwork portion, it is worth it for the knowledge. It showed I had quite a few issues going on that needed addressed. The program is quite expensive but the results I've seen in the last five weeks have been so encouraging to me. After you complete the bloodwork, prepare your mindset for your initial call with a Health Institute practitioner. I read reviews and was trying to get a gauge for how much the program would be and what it would entail. Ultimately, I decided I didn't want the next decade of my life to be a repeat of the last one. In the last decade, I've spent so much on exercise equipment and supplements (that most likely weren't absorbed). I've also been uncomfortable in my own body, tried to minimize myself or avoid being in pictures, declined invitations with friends, bought numerous dresses for my brother's wedding because I was looking for one that would cover me up enough that I would feel comfortable, and on our last family vacation wore leggings on the beach in 90 degree weather. I've been frustrated and embarrassed. I had enough. I've been trying so hard for years and I'm no quitter. Quality of life matters to me, have a fully functioning body matters to me. I chose to invest in myself and trust that the Lord will continue to help me along the way.
APPROACH:
The personalized supplements chosen for me were sent well before my start date for each phase and before my first appointment with my practitioner.
The component I have been lacking is the nutritional side. I have NEVER seen supplements work so effectively. Previously, it seemed like my body was not absorbing nutrients, which at the time seemed odd to me, but now I understand better. Another component was under eating. With the right supplements and adequate amount of food, my body composition is changing. To be fair, I haven't been gauging results by a scale. The only times I weigh myself are when I go to the doctor and have to. I will weigh myself at the end of this program because I was weighed by my doctor about a month before I started. My acid reflux symptoms are subsiding more each week. You will be assigned a practitioner to meet with periodically. They check in and answer any questions you have each week. Shout out Alexandria!
KNOWLEDGE:
I utilize the Facebook group the most. I'm not typically available to jump in on a call during the day because I work. There is a lot of available that I have yet to utilize.
NUTRITION: I start my week separating out supplements into a weekly pill caddy and meal prep. To be cost effective, buy frozen vegetables. Coconut aminos & honey are my favorite sauce option and Primal Kitchen has some decent ones. I drink bone broth daily. Pick foods you like and combine them. Eat meals on repeat.
MOVEMENT:
I walk at least 10k steps a day five days a week (Pacer - free ap). I started Lagree (strength training) this year and try to do it once a week (you can mimic Lagree moves at home for free). I have been lifting weights at home). In total, three days of strength training.
STRUCTURE:
I encourage you to build a framework that you can rely on for easy and hard days. Preparation has always been the key to success in my experience. Once you prep for the week. Decide daily that you are going to show up for yourself. God bless!

This program is a challenge, to be sure..The changes in my food plan seemed drastic. My practioner was patient with me and listened to my concerns. She helped simplify things and gradually I began to make the necessary changes. I sleep better. I feel better. I've dropped a few pounds. I'm in phase three of four. The Health Institute gives me plenty of information to succeed. I will keep learning and growing in self care skills. I'm grateful for all the research that provided the reasons for the food plan that allows me to feel better and sleep better!
