Easy to navigate website. Ordering was straight forward and delivery was timely. The toadstools are a perfect addition to the little fairy corner I've created in my garden for my grandchild to find.

First time purchase

First time purchase. 3-5 working days delivery. Ordered in time for Mothers Day. Goods failed to arrive. Poor (nil) communication. Just got a bland email saying I would get a refund. No 'sorry'. No explanation. They couldn't be bothered.
Won't be using Home Hut again

My garden clock was delivered quickly…

My garden clock was delivered quickly and we'll packed. It looked a nice brown colour. Only comment about product was that the hands had to be pulled out a little. They caught and stopped the clock from going round. Good value though.

Ordered a clock through Amazon

Ordered a clock through Amazon. It stopped working after a few weeks. Requested a refund. Return label was generated. Ok, it took me several months to return but that’s my prerogative (also had to purchase special packaging as the clock is huge). Returned item through Royal Mail and have a receipt. I’ve chased numerous times on Amazon and got no reply. In the end Amazon sent messages and that’s generated a dialogue but my goodness, not a helpful one. This is without doubt the rudest company I’ve ever dealt with. They don’t answer questions like “please confirm that you have received the return” and instead answer with punchy responses like “this was ages ago - out of warranty!’ and ‘see previous messages’. I honestly don’t know if the responses are AI generated or there’s a human being behind them. I hope AI because the responses are embarrassing if from a human. This company clearly has no idea about consumer rights and basic law including the Sale of Goods Act, which is a bit worrying given that they’ve been trading for several years. I can only assume therefore that they’re being purposely obstructive. At the beginning they referred to a 30 day return period….completely ignoring the fact that this is not a case of someone who’s changed their mind. The clock was defective and not fit for purpose. The item has been returned within 6 months of sale and the onus is on them to show that it was not defective at the point of sale. Given that they can’t even confirm that it’s been received (it has…..Royal Mail has confirmed as such) I don’t hold out much hope of educating them on basic consumer law so off to the Small Claims Court I go. What a waste of everyone’s time (and their money). Pathetic seller.
