Excellent guide to interviews. I purchased the guides 4 years ago. I had one interview and was offered the job. I have used the updated guide again, interviewed today and offered the job this evening. It really helped me, especially the mantra I had in my head ‘it’s not about you it’s about them’! I would highly recommend The Interview Guys if like me you struggle at interviews.

They stole my money. I paid for the interview guide but never received the document. I sent email to their support email but received no reply. I never received login information as well. Tried to login using my email using "forgot my password", but didnt work as well, since the forgot my password page is not working. Buyer beware!!

Best interview prep material I have come across. They are a little long-winded with their stories and illustrations but the advice is solid and bankable. I feel so much more confident at interviews now. I have nailed several, but internal politics cut me out of the roles I wanted but I digress.

The Master Guide is 239 pages and could probably be condensed to 50 pages if they cut out all the casual nonsense writing, e.g. having conversations within the guide assuming what the reader is thinking and responding to those assumed thoughts, none of which are a serious conversation. For example - they suggest treating an interview like a date and then continue for three paragraphs about how and why you don't need to take flowers and chocolates with you.... as if there was someone who would legitimately jump to that conclusion. Suggesting role play and talking for half a page about how it's not Dungeons and Dragons.

There's a lot of fluff in there, and a lot of common sense or unnecessary things like what to eat in the weeks leading to your interview, go get a haircut, iron your shirt, don't be drunk etc. I'm unsure if it is worth the money but it can't hurt your chances I guess. If you're strapped for cash though I wouldn't bother.

There were a handful of notes I made from the 239 pages that were useful tips. The rest is just white noise, and is written like a Young Adult novel, feels like the audience is kids in their early teens, not professional people trying to secure a job.

Sure they provide detailed examples of questions and answers but it's nothing more than what I've researched and found online elsewhere for free.

I'm all for making it an engaging read, but maybe tone it down several notches.

I was scared to death to have an interview since I haven't been through one for 12 years. I did a Google search for phone interview and found The Interview Guys just in time for my first interview. I passed the phone interview and was on to my in person interview and knew that I had to really up my game and so I bought the manual. I spent four days pouring over the manual and coming up with sample answers. I never realized that I could be asked so many different questions! If I wouldn't have had the manual and information, I would not have been so completely at ease in my interviews. I was even asked the really hard situational behavioral questions. I had come up with so many stories that it was easy to feel confident. I've had three interviews now and I think I will be given an offer. Thanks Interview Guys for preparing me to get my dream job!

I obtained the guide days before I received an unexpected opportunity to go on an interview. Very glad that I had started to review some of the materials that I believe prepared me for the interview panel that asked 27 pre-printed questions. Thanks, Guys!!!

This guide helped me out so much. I bought it about a week before a very important interview. It helped me feel confident and prepared, I killed the interview and got a job offer that day!

I would like to see more examples of interview questions. Especially in the field of risk/ compliance..

The interview guide is a great reference tool however when you need a job right away it is very long to get through

Loved the interview master guide. This is so useful for navigating interviews with confidence - an amazing product for the price. Lots of useful tips to ensure you're tailoring your interview to the job position you're interviewing for. I would recommend this product wholeheartedly for anyone who wants to nail their next job interview!

I downloaded and printed the entire book. I've been reading it and referring to it before every interview. Love It!

There is nothing more intimidating then looking for employment. The Interview Guys help you every step of the way and add in lots of humour to help keep the stress levels down. I just discovered the Interview Guys a couple of weeks ago and have already recommended them to many, including the organization Career Professionals of Canada through an online course of theirs that I’m taking.

I found this site by accident but love these guys. My daughter had just gone on an interview - first one in 6 years and she blew it. I sent her a link to this site and she was amazed at how much she had wished she read it before the interview. They hit on all the questions she was asked during her interview. There were several questions we were not really sure what the best way to answer would have been but then after reading the way to answer questions from the Interview Guys...99% of her anxiety went away. She feels very confident ….. it worked...…….the next interview she went on....you guessed it...SHE GOT THE JOB!!

I have been dreading the interview process for ever and needed some guidelines. I didn't want to spend money though. But after much consideration I purchased the guide book and studied it 2 days before my interview. I followed it to the best I could during the actual one on one and I actually got the job offer a few days later. I think this really helped me prepare the best I could.

Lots of great information and quick access to important topics

The information in the blog and on the book is amazing, some stuff, could be simple or common knowledge to some people, however, have that as a reminder of the kinds of step that you need to take, plus the information in the book is a blow minds, thanks interviewguys.com Jeff and Mike, I am Hispanic so English language is my second language, so the way and funny sometimes your use to write your essays make it easy to digest, help me a lot.
