Absolutely lovely bedding
Absolutely lovely bedding, It has really brightened up my space. They are of fantastic quality.
They do smell like ink when fresh out of the packaging but after airing them for a day, giving them a light wash and hang drying, the smell went away.
Worth every penny, thank you very much.

All of the bedding with designs is made using hand block printing and using the most environmentally friendly non hazardous dyes. Ironically, because of this, there can sometimes be a residual smell of the dyes. This is why I suggest when despatching the bedding, that if this is the case it is best aired first for this to dissipate. It is probably best to air it dry for a little longer, rather than washing it, but in either case the dye aroma will disappear and we feel that overall it is worth it, to keep the methods both traditional, authentic and most importantly environmentally friendly.

Stunning and Comfortable
Not only is my duvet cover stunning, organic and fair-trade, it is the most comfortable bedding ever. I bought a duvet set with pillows and a sheet. Excellent quality material, beautiful decoration and unbelievably comfortable for sleep. Doesn't make you sweat either which is another bonus.

Bought a duvet cover set a year or so ago, love it more and more, the cotton is so luxuriously soft. If we have guests to stay I’ll usually use the Their Story set and invariably get positive comments about the softness. Just repainted our bedroom so looking to buy another set in different design/colour 😀

I spent double what I normally would…
I spent double what I normally would for 100% cotton with a high thread count, for this set. I was really happy to find this company and was planning on buying more once I had seen the first one, but I am a bit disappointed with the quality. The pillowcases buttons come undone very easily so are often open, the material is not as smooth as I expected, it is flat Matt. The colour has faded after one wash but has stayed more or less the same since (2 years). I never buy less than 200 thread count but this doesn't feel as smooth as that. For such a lot of money, £129, I expected much better, but I do love the softness, and colour and print.
I am glad there is a company treating it's employees well, that's the reason I bought from them, but I don't feel I got an excellent product.

Many thanks for taking the time to review our bed linen. I am sorry that you feel the way you do about it. All of our duvet covers are 300 thread count. Sateen is the name for the type of weave that is used, which produces a softer fabric with a smoother surface and more flexibility in the fabric.
The duvet sets are luxury and the recommended wash is single delicate at 30 degrees. I have not had the feedback about the buttonholes on the pillows, but would be glad to receive any pictures of that via my website contact email and I will certainly look into it.
The cotton is organic, the thread count is 300, the designs are all hand block printed using AZO free dyes and the facility is a member and compliant with the World Fair Trade Organisation WFTO, ensuring excellent working conditions. All of these factors together mean that the price is actually considerably cheaper than other luxury sets, without either organic cotton or fair trade practices.

The pillow case is a good size too. Previous Fairtrade pillow cases from other companies have been rather too small. Will definitely buy another when I see one I like.
