Haven't been here for a few years and was looking for somewhere to meet up with family. After reading recent reviews, I thought we'd give it a go.
Service was excellent, drinks order was taken within a few minutes of arriving and ample time was given before they returned for the food order.
Food choice was good, portions was extremely generous and we probably could've done without the starters as we all ended up taking some of our mains home with us.
The atmosphere was lovely. The restaurant was about three quarters full and was a mix of couples, groups and families. As well as the waiting staff being extremely attentive to everyonoe, the manager was walking around speaking to everyone too. Really relaxed and welcoming feel.
Value for money was very good. We had a drink and two courses each and it worked out to be £26.60 per person. Considering the amount and quality of food, as well as the excellent service, you can't be vexed for this price!
Looking forward to going back to try something else on the menu.

Going out for dinner has to be an experience. Food is emotion and we enjoyed every moment. You can tell they understand this at the Italian kitchen. They are striving for perfection. The service was great, the food and wine was excellent and the canoli perfect. And the prices are fair. Thank you.

Mediocre overall . Service fine and staff worked hard. Friends felt let down with overall experience and they said it was not as good as before and cocktails fell short of taste. I thought it was overpriced but was grateful to get a table at short notice as Dishoom had.to cancel night before due to a burst water pipe.

Always had great food and service been going since Alex and guys took it over, but today was my last visit, I went in with 6 family members for Sunday lunch I felt a little off and only ate part of my lunch so I asked could I take it home in a takeaway box they refused stating they don’t do that for Carvery, I hadn’t piled my plate high I never do, but all my meat was left and veg and half a Yorkshire pud they stated it’s to stop people piling it high then taking it home - what a Kaye full of vegetables as your meat is portioned by them, your worried about a plate full of veg already on someone’s plate so rather than let them take it home you’ll put it in the bin absolutely shocking behaviour- then if your worried about this why don’t you serve the veg as well then people can take what they’ve already paid for home if they carnt eat it or not well. I am shocked on 2 levels firstly at the fact I had paid for that food on my plate and secondly the waste they must be going through and yes they provide a takeaway box if you order your food to go so what’s the difference you still pick your food yourself from the Carvery amd can take as much as you can fit in the container sale your plate - honestly just doesn’t make sense - well that’s us done amd I also noticed a drop in the amount of people in the place maybe this is why

Delicious food, lovely staff, great atmosphere, all at a good price. I eat here regularly and cannot recommend them highly enough. Fantastic!

The food staff and atmosphere are top notch! One of the top restaurants in the area hands down! Brilliant with children as well allowing them to make their own pizzas and take them to the kitchen counter and hand them to the chef.
