Our Videographer Alex was amazing! he was like an Ninja, we didn't even know he was there most if the time but her produced the most stunning video! I am so happy and he was worth every penny!

I have mixed feelings about our photographer however, Paul was a lovely person, however despite lots of time taken up in our day on photoshoots I was very disappointed when we we received our photos. There are some stunning ones of me and my husband, however he didn't get the group shots that we really wanted. The family shots that we got are terrible. He seemed to focused on the background rather than the people on the photos so the people in the group photos were tiny and the photo is mainly of a huge ugly door, also some people are hidden behind other people or not smiling. It feels like we missed most of our drinks reception for nothing. He also did not get many other photos of our immediate family. we received loads of the same people in our gallery and none at all of other people who came to our wedding. I am most gutted about the group shots as we can never get that time back to replicate them. I feel so sad about it that I find it very difficult to look back through my photos.
I understand they have a difficult task as the day is hectic, but he was given alot of our time and I expected more. I am sorry to leave such a negative review. 😔

The Kensington Photographer captured our wedding day for us recently. They managed to capture all the images we requested and lots of candid ones also. We are so happy with the final photos. It was so lovely looking back through the images and reliving our wedding day 🥰 thank you so much, we will treasure these photos!

I came across the Kensington photographer by chance via a Facebook competition, i was a little sceptical but I entered and won second place getting a discount package. There I was contacted by Jason we spoke on the phone and exchanged emails he was very helpful and I felt re assured. On the day of our wedding our photographer was Martin, he arrived on time introduced himself to all of us and got to work. He was very professional put everyone at ease, helped us out went posing for photographs, we couldn’t be happier with the results. Thank you so much

A photographer is a huge part of a wedding day to capture those moments you don’t always see and those you don’t want to forget. TKP done just that! We was blown away with the photos we received and is amazing to have these for life to remember our special day. Friendly admin team in the background, quick responses available outside the normal 9-5, packages fairly priced and amazing quality. Nothing was to much and care was taken to every detail!

Myself and my (now) husband booked The Kensington Photographer back in 2020, we had won a £500 voucher towards the overall cost, we read about this voucher and had seen some paranoid comments about it as quite a few people had won it, but we felt it was a really good advertisement / technique to engage people and get them to book. We found the price really reasonable, for it to be under £1000 and including all pictures in black and white and 150 prints in a wooden box.

Jason was really approachable, I didn't have the need to message a lot but when I did, I found the responses were quick and straight to the point which I really liked. I also found the photographer form really helpful as to be honest I had no clue what to ask for! The form made us really think about what locations we wanted, who we wanted in the pictures etc. it also asked for two people to help assist the photographer, at the time I thought it was strange but it ended up being a godsend! I am so glad we had put the groomsmen down as they helped the photographer and make the entire posed pictures run smoothly e.g., getting the next lot of people ready, which saved so much time and meant we could get in to mingle with others sooner.

On the day we had Emily, who was absolutely lovely! She felt like a friend by the end of the day as conversation was so relaxed and friendly, she was on the ball constantly, either taking posed pictures, candid shots or taking photos of the rooms and props such as rings etc.

Emily visited the groom first and then came to myself and the bridesmaids, we both said how lovely she was. Emily had us practicing breathing exercises or talking us through the shots, given we didn't have a pre-wedding shoot (which is not something we were interested in anyway) this really helped relax us. I found she fit in with everyone really well, making conversation and snapping away at moments I would never have thought would look good, but in fact looked amazing!

I feel I needed the help so I really appreciated Emily just picking up on how I was feeling or repositioning me etc. Throughout the day she was brilliant at communicating with us but also suggesting things like coming inside for pics or outside, with different people. She actually took a lot of pictures of the props we used such as flip flops and confetti, and inside the venue so it really captured all the minor details that I'd honestly forgotten about in the whirlwind of the day!

I had incorrectly filled out the form for the first location but Emily was straight on it and adapted to whatever we wanted. We had also forgotten to cut the cake... Emily pointed it out to us ha!

We received the pictures within 14 days of the wedding day which I thought was brilliant, looking through them took me right back to the day. There were 600 pictures, 1200 including the B&W prints. We absolutely love them and couldn't be happier. Emily has taken such a variation and so many candid shots which is what we wanted, so many of the guests and captured the speeches brilliantly, they almost tell the story of them all over again!

We have just selected our 150 prints to be printed which again is such a lovely touch and there were so many good ones it was hard to decide! I also found the website gallery really good and easy to use and I've now got the app.

So many guests commented on how lovely Emily was and approachable and friendly, I love how she got stuck in and also calmed my nerves waiting for the wedding car!

Overall, 10/10 we couldn't have asked for more and I would definitely recommend you to anyone who asked. You need to get your wedding photography right and we were so nervous about booking someone but we are so happy we chose you guys.

We can’t thank Arnie at Kensington Photographers enough!! The photos are amazing! Arnie was easy to get on with and our guests commented on how non-invasive he was throughout the day and this in no way effected the quality and quantity of fab photos.
Our whole experience with The Kensington Photographer has been great, so easy to get booked in and always replied to our emails in good time, if not immediately.

So pleased with all our images! Mick was so lovely and made us feel so at ease when taking our wedding photos especially as my husband is camera shy! He blended in so well and all the photos are absolutly stunning! The weather wasnt on our side but Mick was up for the task of getting the images we requested outside and captured all my special requests! Thank you so much I can't wait to see our prints!

Would definitely recommend! We had Mick as our photographer he was there for 11 hours doing an amazing job! He captured exactly what we asked throwing his own spin on some of the images too! All guests were super impressed by him and thought he did a great job! We got a perfect mix of group shots to in the moment shots! We are really happy with the service delivered and quality of the photos we received! They only took 2 weeks to send the photos through as well!!

Nothing but wonderful things to say about The Kensington Photographer, especially Mick! We had to postpone our wedding due to Covid and were so happy to be able to keep these guys as our photographers and wow, they did not disappoint! Every detail was considered for our photos, our ideas were used and the results were absolutely stunning. Mick captured the most special memories and the fact that we have so many ways of viewing our fabulous photos makes it all the more special. We initially didnt plan on having a photographer as where both really awkward in front of a camera but won first prize in the Kensington photography competition and WOW! We finally had our day and have now received our photos. Mick was amazing on our day so easy going and the end result we could not be happier with. The images really capture the emotion of the day. The whole experience with Kensington photography was professional throughout & we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I was really worried about how our photos would turn out for our wedding as we are both really self conscious people.....however our pictures were even better than we could ever have imagined. Arnie was our photographer and he was amazing....such a lovely guy and so up for anything we were wanting to try to get an amazing picture. He also complelty got our vibe. From start to since all we can say is wow and thank you for everything. We felt so comfortable throughout our whole day. We are litrally just waiting to receive our prints but we're so excited. We had the pleasure of Mick and James capturing the moments of our special day. After winning the amazing photography competition back in 2019 and having to postpone our wedding originally planned for 2020, the big day finally arrived on 21/12/21. The communication up to the wedding day was great, Jason and the team were prompt at replying to any questions.
On the day both me and Chris felt very relaxed with Mick and James. It felt like having two more friends attending the wedding who took photos throughout the day. The photos we have received back are simply beautiful. From capturing the standing group shots to the candid moments of friends and family and not to mention the fun and games of trying to light sparklers on a cold December night!
We received the link to view our photos less than 2 weeks after the wedding (most other photographers offer an 8 week turnaround), plus Mick and James were kind enough to take the time and send us a small selection of 4 photos the day after the wedding. One month, to the day, after the wedding we then received our prints and the usb containing all of our photos.
Since winning the competition I have had numerous messages asking if this company is legit and if I would recommend them.. my answer is yes, 100% chose the Kensington photographer to capture your day. I can honestly say you will not be disappointed. We have had so many complements on our photos and we can't stop looking at them. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Honestly can’t thank this company enough for our wedding photos. We received our full gallery yesterday after only 2 weeks of us getting married and the photos are absolutely amazing. To the extent it made me cry all over again just remembering how beautiful our special day was.

Mick was absolutely amazing and we just loved how excited he got over our venue and the time he took looking round our venue to find the most amazing spots to take our photos. We honestly can’t thank him enough. He went above and beyond that whole day just to make our pictures extra special and unique.

Couldn’t recommend you enough and I will be telling everyone I know who is getting married to use yourselves as their photographer.

Thomas and I were married on 25/09/2021 in Basingstoke, Hampshire. Our photographer was the lovely Mick and he just did the most fantastic job. We wanted candid photos almost all the way through and the moments that Mick captured are just beautiful. We had a rubbish situation with our accommodation and he assured us that there was nothing to worry about and he was right. Thank you for capturing our perfect day so wonderfully. All of our guests described Mick as the "Ninja" - the way he moves around the space is fascinating!

So, we won a voucher at the start of 2021 for £500 off our wedding photography - I had a look through the portfolios and loved the style of the photos and decided to go ahead.

Booking was easy and Jason was very friendly and helpful. The planning stages were simple too, they provide you with a detailed form to write out what shots you’re after and the timings of the day etc to ensure they capture everything you want. They also require you to bring a group shots list and nominate someone to help with arranging the group shots which is very good too and just helps with organisation.

We unfortunately had to change our venue and subsequently the date of our wedding due to covid -19. I noticed Jason, paid an administration charge of £90 to move the date and completed the documents as described above with our new venue details and timings. I confirmed we’d pay the remaining balance less the deposit And admin fee on the day in cash.

The day came, and I was expecting a photographer to arrive at 11 for the bridal prep. It got to 11:30 and no one had arrived. I started to worry and called Jason who said he would find out what was going on. Jason called me back just before 12 (on our wedding day) to confirm that there had been a mistake and they had our original date and venue booked in and therefore were not aware that the wedding was today. I explained that I’d paid the admin fee to move the date and had sent across the new details via email, I double checked and I had done all of this. Jason apologised and said he could get someone there but it would take a while as they were in London and us in Gloucestershire. The ceremony started at 13:30 and it was doubtful we’d have the photographer there for that. Meaning we’d miss the vital parts.

Luckily, I had booked another supplier for videography and there were two people that attended. One of them luckily was a photographer who had packed her cameras not expecting to use them. She stepped in last minute and was able to secure some of the bridal prep and save our day.

Jason apologised and refunded our money however being honest, if it wasn’t for our other supplier our day would have been ruined. The day is just that, and lasts for 24 hours - photos are what you’re left with and last forever. They’re snapshots of the memories and are what allows you to relive your day. We nearly didn’t have this and I can’t imagine how devastating that would have been. I’ve been blocked from commenting on their Facebook and they do not allow reviews on Facebook. My advice would be if you’re booking this company to call them 24 hours in advance and ensure that they are coming.

We honestly cannot thank you enough for our beautiful wedding photos and your exceptional service.

The lead up to our wedding was seamless with extremely detailed help and communication. Jason instantly replied to any messages or emails from me and nothing was a hassle.

On the day, Mick was absolutely amazing from the moment we met him, super friendly and just completely knew what he was doing and captured EVERY little moment. Our grandparents weren't physically able to attend our wedding (but did via a video call) and Mick noticed and unknown to us took photos of the phone with them on it so they could still be a part of our wedding and photos. This meant an awful lot to us.

From chasing the running toddlers around, to lying in the sand and building a platform from outdoor benches and chairs to capture a group photo. He went above and beyond!! He chatted with our guests and everyone loved him!

We are so so incredibly grateful he was our photographer. We will forever be recommending The Kensington photographer to everyone we know!!
