Very inspirational and motivating running club, friendly environment that welcomes all abilities would highly recommend giving this club a go!

Kilometre Club is the best running club in Chester. Kieran and everyone are so friendly. Kieran ensures every run is suitable for runners of all abilities and experience and always has a good schedule lined up. I wouldn’t want to run with any other club!

I joined the KMC to meet new friends and improve my running - I’ve done both. I really enjoy the mixture of runs as well as the socials and events along the way! I’m already looking forward to next year.

The KMC is brilliant. I was fairly new to running when I joined about 9 months ago and I'm definitely hooked now. The runs are well organised, full of friendly faces and varied enough in the week to keep it fresh. Particular favourites are 6k @6am and the track sessions

I joined KMC as I was new to Chester and wanted an organic way to meet new people whilst staying accountable to my running habit, and I am so thankful I did.

I can genuinely say I have made friends for life at the club! Yes, it's scary to rock up when you don't know anyone, but everyone is super friendly and regardless of your pace (I'm a slow runner), you'll be made to feel welcome!

I decided to join the kilometre club as it was a way to improve my running as well as meet new like minded people. It’s help me achieve race times I never in a million years think I’d be able to achieve all because everyone in the club are incredibly supportive of each other and always trying to push each other to be that 1% better. So grateful for the friendships I’ve made and would definitely encourage anyone to join the club. No matter how fast or slow of a runner you are, there’s a place for everyone :)

I signed up to the KMC through the recommendation of a friend. I would never have thought then what a cataclysmic influence it would have on my health & personal life.

Highly recommend The kilometre club if you’re looking to sign up to a running club! It’s a great, friendly club and everyone supports each other. Lots of social events also so great opportunity to meet like minded people . I joined so I could improve my running and be more consistent, it’s great to run with others and definitely have seen an improvement in my running since before I joined! I’m excited for what 2024 brings! I love to run early in the morning as it sets you up for the day so I love the fact there’s an early morning run each week.

I decided to join The Kilometer Club with the primary goal of meeting new people and staying fit. I must say, the club has exceeded my expectations in both regards, and I genuinely look forward to each session with excitement. The sense of community and the positive energy make every run a fantastic experience.

One of the aspects I love most about The Kilometer Club is the variety it offers. Exploring different runs around Chester adds a refreshing twist to my fitness routine. What's even better is the opportunity to engage in activities like FACTR Bootcamp and Hot Pod Yoga. These are experiences I might not have ventured into independently, and I'm grateful for the diverse opportunities the club provides.

More than running club

The KMC is an extremely welcoming group of runners based in Chester. I have been running with the club for 3 years and during that time have managed to up my sketchy 10k distance to a full marathon. I’ve also been able to increase my speed by attending their track, interval and hill sprint sessions and made use of their partnerships to improve my running form, recover from injury and cross train with gym and yoga classes. I have to say the best thing about the KMC is the people, they are so welcoming, encouraging and supportive. The club has given me friends for life and fuelled my passion for running.

Would highly recommend the kilometre club to anyone! The runs are always well organised and in different locations. 3 runs a week means there’s something for everyone and the Sunday social is always a popular meet with a coffee after. The club is welcoming and is like being part of one big family. Since joining the running club over a year ago I have made so many life long friends and enjoy going each week. Kieran is always looking to improve the group, whether it’s regular social meet ups, different routes or new merchandise.

The KMC is a great club, full of people who have a passion for running and socialising. They include all abilities and no one ever feels left out. They put on a great range of events at various times each week which caters to most people. I have been a member for two years and cant wait to see what comes next year!

The KMC is such a well organised, friendly running club. A mixture of abilities and so welcoming, lots of smiles and laughter amongst the group. Thoroughly enjoyed the route and saw areas of Chester I have not yet been to.
