Snobbery

Guildford store
Very rude and snobbish
Hi I went into this branch recently enquiring about kitchen prices and generally showing interest in there products.
I am certainly not a poor person. But I was very rudely spoken down at as if I am some sort of peasant, that couldn't afford there prices and products.
I have since ordered a complete kitchen elsewhere, where I was treated with respect.

Shoddy goods by a shoddy company who shirk their warranty reponsibilities!

Unfortunately the star rating doesn't allow a minus rating for The Kitchen Store (Worthing)!!

Shoddy goods by a shoddy company who have zero respect for their customers and refuse to replace faulty cupboard doors that have de-laminated that failed before the 5 year warranty expired. Some were replaced that showed the problem a couple of years earlier.

Despite us having an email from them and a verbal statement stating that there were manufacturing process and material problems, they back away from their responsibilities of providing faulty goods unsuitable for the purpose intended. The fact that it was the early part of the Covid pandemic and no contact could be made with the company doesn't matter to TKS. Even though we we weren't allowed meeting inside other properties, no consideration was given by them. All they could do was hide behind there company front and use scare tactics to deter us from pursuing the small claims court action any further that we were part way through. Due to a family bereavement we decided to drop the case as we considered our mental well-being was worth more than the £3,000 we were claiming. This £3,000 was the amount we had paid out to a different company to replace all the faulty affected gloss finish doors, panels etc. We decided to have the parts replaced as the kitchen was looking dishevelled with the door coverings all peeling off and cracking. The displaced parts were retained as evidence but all sorts of poor excuses given by TKS as to why they were no longer liable for the faulty goods they originally supplied and fitted 5 years previously.

So not a company to be trusted any further than the end of the road. Arrogant stern faced staff who provide no customer service nor compassion in dealing with their problems. All very odd that there are no other customer reviews available for this company whatsoever online! That tells us something now. A company to be well avoided and better off spending your money with a Wickes or B&Q kitchen at half the price and with a reliable 20 year guarantee not a waste of time 5 year worthless one!
