We find that once the project has been rinsed in cool soapy water, to remove any chemicals/dyes used during the manufacturing process, which may make the yarn feeling a little coarse.

Bright and beautiful
Love the stripe pattern and solid blocks, good quality wool for both knitting and crocheting and i have many colours in this range
Loving this yarn, lovely to knit with and having just completed the front of a v neck slipover was pleased to see that the striping effect matched up beautifully on either side of the v. I dint like balks of yarn bouncing around so chose to pull end from the centre of ball p, it came out in a large wodge but still easy to use and then the yarn came from the middle as normal. I started a new ball in same way for the back so colours would match.

I bought this yarn to knit a baby jacket. It knitted very nicely, colours great - but not as soft as I expected, but it doesn’t claim to be “baby” yarn. Still made a very nice little jacket.

I've bought Hip Hop, Pop and Classical to match the original Amplify. Visually the Hip Hop doesn't match; my original is a rich cream; the Base has bright White. The other colours match well (although my 2nd order of Classical was mislabelled Pop colour (I WAS refunded, KN are great like that) Texture of Base is unlike the original Amplify. It has a grabby texture when working (crochet) with it and works up thicker and stiffer by comparison. Its not an itchy grab like wool though. The blue and white and bottom right tan and white blocks are base. I still happily give it 3.5 to 4 stars
