I used this pattern several years ago when it was in the women's weekly,and found it so easy to do. So I look forward to using a newer edition to help keep my first great grand child warm. i

The wool was purchased for my Sister who has already made the Lemon and Soft Mint baby blankets. It is a lovely pattern to knit and looks great when finished.
Loved the look of it .Beautiful yarn,BUT I think you should say the pattern is a grid not written out.Ive been knitting for years can knit anything but oh I hate this grid thing being used now

A bit confusing The tables it refers to, do not have any letters to indicate where you start.

We're sorry the table of charts is missing its references.
The charts should be as follows - the letter A is chart A, the letter B is chart B, the letter C is chart C, the solid Diamond is chart D and the open diamond if chart E.

Great wool and pattern Haven’t started it yet as I haven’t had time
Gorgeous pattern, really enjoy knitting it.
I’ve only just started this blanket, but the pattern is easy to follow and it looks exactly like the picture. The wool is nice to knit with, it hasn’t split and it feels quite soft.

I’ve made the main blanket, and am now about a third of the way through the edging. Unfortunately, I’ve found it easy to make mistakes on the edging - becoming fewer now, thank goodness! I found the pattern after looking at loads of others - but as soon as I found yours I emailed a photo to my grandson. His immediate response was ‘It’s perfect!’. His partner knows I’m making a blanket, but I’m keeping the ‘actuality’ a secret till it’s finished. I did send you an email as soon as I received the first contact, suggesting that you enclose a chart on A4 to guide knitters as I found going backwards and forwards between written instructions and individual squares rather tiresome. I’d made a chart (3 by 4) for myself and this helped me immensely. The blanket will certainly become what he originally asked me for: a blanket that would become an heirloom!
I think it was value for money. Blanket knits well.

I have not started this yet as I am working on a different project at the moment. However the wool feels lovely and I don't envisage any problems with the knitting. It did take a long time, over a week, for delivery, which is unusual, but I put that down to the snow and ice!
Looks like a good and straightforward pattern and beautiful yarn. Can’t wait to get started.
