100% acrylic yarns with a looser ply do have a slight tendency to pill when handled.
We can suggest tightening your stitches: This can help beef up vulnerable yarns and reduce pilling and be gentle with your yarn. Avoid excessive rubbing and use a cashmere comb or pilling razor to gently remove pills.
However, if you find this is not going to be suitable for your projects, you are more than welcome to contact our Customer Care Team and they can assist you with returning any unused yarn to us.

Very soft wool
This is another yarn I've not used. Its lovely to knit with feels soft and will be warm. Using it for my Christmas knitting. Photo of back of an Elf jumper for my grandson.
