I was disappointed with this as the colour doesn't look like the photograph. The green is lighter and the flecks are different colours. For instance there aren't any red ones.

I was very disappointed with this yarn because it is very thin for Aran weight and no thicker than DK. It is also a little bit coarse and not what I expected. I don’t know how well it will knit up.

Absolutely no complaints about The Knitting Network as they and their service is brilliant. This is about this yarn: This wool was the recommended yarn in King Cole 6345 Aran pattern. Although lovely colours it was harsh/ flat and didn’t knit up very well at all in fair Isle. I’m now knitting it in Emu Classic Aran and this feels and looks much better! Not your fault but King Cole for recommending the wrong yarn. A bit harsh but I really wanted to like this yarn- oh and the Forest and Grizedale were practically the same colour. One should have been much paler for the pattern to work. I’d be amazed if this yarn was used for the waistcoat in the photo.

I find it difficult to knit with, which is annoying as I really like the shade Wyre Forest.

Not sure about this!!!! Very fine for an Aran yarn. Will continue with it and do more of the pattern.

Not used as yet but, have used before & it good value. Established brand, soft enough for children items, looks great knitted up. Nice range of colours.
I love the wool, great colour with some flecks of other colours, which keeps it interesting to knit with. Knitting up well, not too many knots. Looking forward to seeing how the finished garment hangs and washes.
