This wool knits up beautifully, I've used it before and it is so soft and looks lovely with the sparkle running through.
Quality and price of yarn is perfect for my project and delivery was timely.
Beautiful good quality wool knits up lovely
I am very pleased with colours, they will be perfect for making a couple of cardigans for evening wear.
I was disappointed with the colours as displayed on Knitting Network. I thought I had bought two contrasting colours (Amethyst and Regal). Amethyst was much darker in reality, so I couldn't use the Regal as a contrast. The wool is very sparkly and knits more like 4 ply than double knitting. I had to change my plan and couldn't use the Regal ball bought however it worked up well with a lacy pattern on a 3.75 needle, with a lovely drape.

I was pleased with the wool initially. The colour and the softness was everything I expected and it was knitting up perfectly until I got to a part of the yarn which was frayed and knotted. I eventually managed to make sure the fault was on the wrong side.

Knots in yarn are an inevitable part of the manufacturing process and most suppliers tell us that up to two knots per 50g ball is considered normal.
But as knitters and crocheters ourselves, we do understand the frustration knots can cause. If you find that the knot(s) leave you short of yarn, please do let us know and we'll be happy to put this right for you.

Easy to knit with
Good quality wool, easy to work with.
Lovely sparkle although the metallic thread does tend to separate from the wool.
Lovely soft wool easy to knit with
Pretty when knitted up. Yarnn feels a bitvthin. Splits at times when using.
