i love the colours.i havent used them yet but i will be blending them into my winter blanket.
Dye comes off on hands

I'm sorry to hear the dye has run on this yarn.
This can happen with yarns that have been heavily dyed and are particularly colourful. I find that when knitting or crocheting in warmer weather, as your hands get warmer, the handling of the yarn can cause the colour to run.
We do suggest using baby powder/talc to keep your hands nice and dry so the colour doesn't transfer and the natural oils in your skin don't react with the yarn.
As the colour has transferred on the yarn, I would be inclined to handwash the item you're making in cold water using a gentle handwash. There are also "no wash" products available which I tend to use on my hand makes so I don't risk any damage to the items. You can usually get these in sprays.

I’ve only just received this yarn, I’m finishing my current project before starting with my plans for this one, so this review is on first impressions. It appears to be a substantial aran yarn, I feel it will give good cable definition, lovely and soft and the colours are gorgeous.
Good value Aran (acrylic/wool blend), knitting up very nicely and lovely colours. Colours change every few stitches, giving the variegated effect I was after - I did not want long swatches of one colour or horizontal bands
