This is not a silicone handle as I'd anticipated & is very lightweight plastic. Whilst this handle material feels a little cheaply (not expected from Sirdar), it's much more lightweight than silicone. It's not as soft as silicone but it's ok. The shaft is long & great for "knife" crochet holders. It crochets very smoothly & overall pretty good hook. Reasonable price.
Good quality
I'm trying to work my way through different brands of crochet hooks to find one that feels comfortable to hold and use. This one was ok, the handle is comfortable enough, but the hook metal sticks as you use it so the yarn doesn't glide smoothly along the hook. Will keep it in my stash though
Well crafted. Nice weight,
By far the best brand I have ever used and they are very inexpensive.
Bought to go with kit, not used yet, but looks good.
Exactly as expected. Good value
I have larger hands, and while I love Clover hooks, they are just a bit too small to hold with my knife grip. The Sidar hooks are longer and thus more comfortable. The hook and shaft are also very smooth with no pull or drag on my wool. Really good price too. All over a win.
There is nothing wrong with this crochet hook however, for me it didn't feel as comfortable to hold as others I have, but that's just my personal preference.

I think this crochet hook is a great fit for myself. I suffer with rheumatoid arthritis, therefore the ergonomic handle is easier for me to hold. Thank you.
They are lovely hooks to use but I’ve found it’s very hard to read the size marked on the hook.
I am a crochet hook snob and have tried everything. Literally. My favourite hooks are made by Clover but these Sidar hooks are, in my mind, just as good. In fact, because they are a bit longer, they fit my larger hand (I use a knife grip) better than the Clover or Tulip Etimo Red, (my runner up.) The aluminum is polished very smoothly--no burrs to catch the wool. I loved the one I tested so much that I bought one in almost every size. A true bargain.
Very comfortable to use. I have these hooks in several sizes and I wish the size was printed on the hook in a different colour than red. I find it quite hard to see the size clearly.
Nice to handle and a welcome addition to my crochet hook collection.
