Catches the wool not a good crochet hook

We are sorry to hear the crochet hook is not as expected.
We can find that certain yarns that are particularly fluffy, will catch whilst crocheting.
If you use a soft cloth and give the hook a gentle wipe over, it will remove any debris that may be causing the hook to catch.
