Overall this yarn was lovely. However one of the balls was sub standard . It looked as if it had threads comming of the yarn and was thinner. So I had to trim the thread off the yarn as I crocheted . So a little disappointed. The photo shows the difference between a good yarn ball and the sub standard one.
Very poor quality with broken wool in every ball of wool having to stop knitting to break knots and restart knitting

I'm very sorry to hear that you’re disappointed with the yarn you've received.
Knots in yarn are an inevitable part of the manufacturing process and most suppliers tell us that up to two knots per 50g ball is considered normal.
But as knitters and crocheters ourselves, we do understand the frustration knots can cause. If you find that the knot(s) leave you short of yarn, please do let us know and we'll be happy to send out an extra ball.

This yarn knits to double knitting patterns and is a lovely texture
Very dissapointed with this wool. the yarn goes really thin quite often.
