Scum!
Service was sub-par. Since then, they've repeatedly been sending random invoices - I guess if they say we need to pay them, we need to pay them, so we do. Sometimes the invoice says what it's for (like 'x-ray') while sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it's just a random "give us money". Why they can't just put everything on the same invoice so there are no surprises, I have no idea.
With the last invoice, we paid it, still getting demands. Turns out it failed on their end (despite giving us confirmation of payment). We paid again. Two days later (today), got a letter threatening us with debt collection.
My mental health has spiralled since my visit to The London Clinic, I had a breakdown, and I attribute this to my visit to The London Clinic. Their behaviour since then has done nothing but continuously chip away at me. For an establishment that's supposed to heal, they do a lot of hurt.
This cowboy company is so incredibly scummy, avoid it at absolutely every cost!

Going into any hospital makes you nervous and anxious but at The London Clinic I can say they were marvellous from start to finish. Any concerns were dealt with very professionally and quickly. The nurses, consultant and anaesthetist were very caring and put my mind at rest during my stay.
I would would strongly recommend The London Clinic.

I found out, approximately two months after my surgery, that they had overcharged me by £5000! I wrote them asking why, to which no real answer was given. They refunded only part of the money outstanding. When I asked why they didn't refund my money immediately, when they must have known I was overcharged, they stated that unless I contacted them, they don't refund. My advice, under no circumstances whatsoever, use this clinic for your upcoming surgery. Was I happy with the outcome of my surgery? About 25%.

I had some tests done here which was self funded but the company I work for has gratefully offered to pay for all tests. All invoices were paid for at the time of the tests and now they have sent me additional fees which I will be taking further with our company lawyer.
I have requested the invoice which relates to the fee they are charging and will take it from there.
We have all receipts and remittances to provide.
Do not go here as there are hidden charges that crop up from nowhere!

Did not even know what consultants are listed in their own website. Despite spelling the name out for the receptionist, she advised me that she couldn’t find him on the system. I said I was looking at his profile as we spoke on the website. No intelligible response….

Staff are amazing
I was in for quite a daunting procedure, staff were always on hand, attentive and calming at all times.
It gives me faith in humanity to see such compassion for one another.
Thank you so much everyone!

I can only recommend this Clinic. Treatments, Staff and infrastructure has all been first class (weekly and daily patient for 6 months)

It is my 2nd operation and stay here and the fifth floor staff are kind, caring and supportive. Having had a number of operations in various leading hospitals I can honestly say this is the best of them all.

It is truly sad that after the hard work that the nurses at The London Clinic put in to make you feel welcome and comfortable it is the credit control that causes you so much stress.
After my final stay at that hospital I was sent home with a bottle of Ketamine and some extra drugs which I actually had on NHS prescription anyway. There was no invoice included with these when they were brought to me just before my discharge and nobody told me that I had to pay for it (previously I didn't need to take any drugs home).
Can you imagine my shock when I was sent an invite asking for £390 a few weeks later stating that I was overdue to pay it?
that was in 2019 and still I am disputing it trying to reiterate the situation but not only The London Clinic isn't interested, they also passed on my details to a debt collecting company who now passed this case onto a court!
I have no words left for that place. And As I said at the beginning - the nurses are wonderful but the rest is just a huge mess.

A very big thank you to The London Clinic team of Nurses/Cooks/Cleaners and Neil Barber and his team who carried out my op.
A special mention to the lady I hope I got her name correct Anna who put me at ease when she took out my capita.
I can’t express my gratitude enough and I only hope the nurses/cooks/cleaners are valued and rewarded. LOIZOS KYRIACOU

Shockingly poor service. Despite the obvious disarray when booking a skinprick test, we went forward with it as the doctor is apparently very good. In the end we were twice mis-informed about the costs, so it cost £300 more than we expected. Then we were further overcharged by more than £100, which they have now passed to debt collectors. I strongly advise everyone to use another provider.

Shambolic clinic, invited me to a free consultation which then turned into a payable consultation even if you do not attend. Now they passed details to another firm to collect the money for a consultation I never had and never agreed to have. The secretary of Jonathan Joseph is luring patients for next day appointments and then emails them invoices. I was never ever aware there are any charges and never agreed on them. THESE ARE SCAMMERS. BE AWARE YOU WILL BE HARRASED - I am now raising this with trading standards.

I cant tell you how awful my experience with the London Clinic was. I went in for an allergy consultation and a skinprick test. The hospital charged my insurance company £1,185 for a skinprick test that was advertised as £220. I immediately noticed that fee was too high and spent the past 3 weeks trying to get somebody to listen. For three weeks they dismissed my complaints about the pricing and refused to review. It was only after I raised a formal complaint that somebody bothered to review my invoice. Sure enough, I was correct and they had overcharged me (considerably). The whole experience was infuriating and painful and the detail above is a fraction of the back and forth that took place. I will never be using this hospital again and I urge you to avoid at all costs.

It’s been few month since I initially visited the Clinic and first visit was good but become optimistic about the consultant I met. There no warmth and professionalism to show care. Every step takes long time and not only that but they are to be prompted for the next step. Had to had CT scan and waited for couple of weeks to hear back from the Clinic or consultant but there wasn’t any. Ended up calling to prompt them to provide the findings at that point I was offered a phone consultation appointment. During phone consultation was advised to get upper GI and flexi scope. Getting the appointment for these procedures took another few weeks.
At one point I asked the consultant in an email the reason I visited him in the first place and he sound lost. Prompted him about been anemic and to to find out the reason. Consultant mentioned so what shall we do. I asked you need to get blood test done to find out how anemic I’m. At that point he mentioned he will forward the request form to my GP practice which will be easier to get done locally rather than travelling to central London. The email with the blood test form never received. When called the secretary, she was so oblivious and said do you want us to do a blood test but what type of blood test shall we do. Was annoyed and told her I’m a patient not a doctor. She mentioned to consult the consultant and finally received the form for blood test to be at the same time as upper GI and flexi. At the Princes Grace while was there for upper GI and flexi hospital staff were unable to find the blood test form. I ended up providing them a copy. Initial report of the UGI and flexi was provided by the doctor who performed the procedure and he mentioned that consultant will provided with report and findings of biopsy taken. Didn’t hear anything back from the consultant until 14 June (procedure was performed on 15 May).
This a shameful service. Never experienced anything like this as I’m Clinic patient since 1987.

I’ve just read the reviews (all 1 star) and I’m quite shocked by what I’ve read because my experience so far… has been the complete opposite.
I initially called the main number and was welcomed by a very lovely, polite man. I already knew which doctor I wanted to see so he tried to put me through to his secretary but there was no answer, so he gave me the direct telephone number for his secretary. I tried 15 mins later and got straight through. I managed to get a video appointment for the following day and I never expected that! it could have been a face to face but it was too short notice for me to travel to London in time for.
So far I was very impressed with the ease of the process. Email communications were excellent with all of the instructions for the video call.
Friday afternoon 5.15pm I logged in for my appointment, within a few minutes of the appointment starting I had a call from the doctors secretary saying he was running late by 10-15 mins and did I mind waiting - not in the slightest. My doctor logged in within 10 minutes of the appt time. He very quickly came to the realisation that he needed to see me in person to carry out several tests, scans and a physical examination. I would have seen him within a week if it were not for the jubilee celebrations. I came off the video appt very impressed with the entire process and experience so far but I do realise it’s early days still. However, I also go to 2 other private hospitals and see different consultants but the experience for both of them has been in no way as good as The London Clinic.
My point after this long winded review is this… if I had read these reviews first then it’s unlikely I would have called the clinic, and to put the potential consequences of that decision in real terms is… I truly believe I have FINALLY found the right specialist to help me!!!

Shambolic - not what you would expect from a private hospital.
Bad communication and harassed staff.
Very disappointing experience. Avoid.

Who would trust a hospital that has been served a warning notice from the CQC for surgery? Management needs a complete overhaul. Avoid, would leave 0 stars if it were possible.
