Excellent quality, with material that’s just the right thickness. These are the perfect dress socks, and as a bird lover, I really enjoy the variety of bird prints. Shipping was fast without any issues.

The material is way too bad for this price, I would have expected non-nylon, but cotton/wool or blend. The packaging was great, but what lies within does not align with the quality of the website/pictures/packaging.

Hi there!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback — we’re pleased to hear the packaging met expectations, though we’re sorry you were disappointed by the material.

To clarify, our socks are fundamentally knitted from high-quality organic cotton marl (typically around 78%), which forms
the base of the sock and gives it its soft, breathable feel. The only part that deviates from this is the detailed patterning, which is produced using nylon (around 20%). This is necessary to achieve the sharpness and durability of the detailed design patterns we create (in this case The Toucan, Trafalgar and Parakeet). A small amount of elastane (around 2%) is used in the top to ensure the sock stays comfortably in place.

We carefully balance natural fibres with performance materials so the socks both look detailed and wear well over time. That said, we understand material preferences are personal, and we appreciate you sharing your perspective.

If you’d like to discuss this further at all, please feel free to contact us at hello@thelondonsockexchange.net — we’re always happy to help.
