We put in 10X13 pergola on our new patio and it is perfect. I did a fair amount of research, and found cheaper units, but none better. This a top-quality unit.

Assembly is straightforward but I absolutely recommend that you review the videos before tackling this so you know what you are getting into, and make sure you have all the tools and ladders on hand before you start.

Ordering is easy, and the unit arrived on schedule. All extrusions are pre-cut and fit together perfectly. Two of us put this together in about 9 hours or so.

The result is a stunning addition to our home. Highly recommended.

A little over a year ago my wife and I decided to remodel our backyard and decided to incorporate a pergola. We knew we wanted a high quality product that would hold up well over time to the extreme weather (heat and wind) associated with Las Vegas Nevada.

During our research we discovered The Luxury Pergola, however they did not offer the Haven Pergola at that time and the other options were outside of our budget. We decided to go with Hanso Home, and it was not a pleasant experience. I had to constantly inquire about the status of our order and finally after months of nonsense and our pergola never being shipped, we were able to get a full refund, even though they were extremely reluctant to do so and had to get our credit card company involved.

We decided to go back to The Luxury Pergola expecting to spend more than we would have liked to, and behold they were just rolling out their new cost effective pergola…Haven. I cannot begin to convey the excitement when we made this discovery! I called the company and spoke with Chase who is a valued member of their team, and he answered all of our questions, and we placed our order. To our surprise our order shipped way faster than expected and before you knew it we had an amazing addition to our backyard. During the build I reached out to Chase regarding clarification on the instructions and I had the opportunity to speak with the President of the company and shared my feedback and experience with him!

These guys were fantastic to work with. I ordered the pergola before checking if I needed a permit (stupid I know). After ordering I went to my HOA and building department and they needed a TON of documentation. Engineering drawings, footing diagrams, etc. It was ridiculous. I reached out to The Luxury Pergola when this came up and they were a delight to work with. They were able to provide all the necessary documentation, including stamped engineering drawings for the pergola I purchased.
The building department was blown away. They said they had never seen anything like this before in terms of build quality and engineering standards.
Building the pergola was easy and we've been enjoying it for several weeks.

The Luxury Pergola was Incredible.
I had an incredible experience with The Luxury Pergola. After doing some shopping around, I decided to call them. The customer service and quality of care was incredible. I went with a 12x20 Pro pergola with contemporary crown. The company reached out prior to delivery and let me know about when I would see the truck coming to my home. I also got a tracking link where I could see the truck traveling from their manufacturing plant in Indiana (yes, it is actually made and ships from Indiana) all the way to my home.
The driver was courteous when unloading the truck was pretty simple.
After installing, I can confidently say that there isn't a better option on the market. Some of my neighbors have units from the other guys, and the quality of The Luxury Pergola is a giant step above.
I would definitely recommend these guys and had a wonderful time working with them.

Luxury Pergola and Patrick Hill was fantastic to work with as we worked thru many options to get the perfect configuration for our patio! Patrick found a great installer R&R Do All out of KY. All went perfectly as planned!!

Had a great experience with The Luxury Pergola. Spent months researching various options and companies and came to the conclusion that this was the best company at a very reasonable price point compared to other companies with inferior products charging twice as much. The on-line videos and tutorials are helpful and entertaining. My main point of reference was Patrick Hill who was fantastic. He emailed and texted me regularly with updates and advice. His colleagues including Chase and Brendan were also very helpful. The kit is sold as a DIY structure so it does take some basic construction skills and at least 2-3 helpers. My advice quite frankly would be to hire some help. I hired a pergola installer locally in San Diego who was great and well worth the extra expense. I added lots of extra like a Kichler Breda 65" fan, Juno WF4 wafer lights on beam, Bose 251 speakers in the corners and 2 Infratech Slim Line heaters on the long rails. Took some extra time due to all of the extra electrical work/runs but in the end we couldn't be happier. Will try to speak to the company at some point about our experience to help others who are in the same position decide on similar extra accessories and options so they can plan ahead with their build in terms of electrical conduits. The unit itself is very well built and looks amazing. Thanks Patrick and team!!

Chase was exceptional in explaining the ordering process and helped me with all my questions for the Ultra Pergola. Our HOA has strict guidelines for metal pergolas and only one out of the 2200 homes was approved for a metal pergola. We live by the coast of South Carolina and we had been looking for some type of open encloser to break the heat in the summer but allow the sun in through the winter months, We looked at regular Pergolas made out of Aluminum and vinyl, but they were not really the solution as they would not stop the rain as well.
Once we started looking at louvered Pergolas, we really liked the design, and options of the Luxury Pergola Company vs their competitors. We called their offices and Patrick Hill walked us through everything that we needed. Because we are by the coast, he was able to give us our choices on Pergolas that would fit our wind requirements as well. Their delivery was fast, we loved their delivery service, actually had the driver stay for dinner, they were very helpfully with every part of the process and any installations questions that we had as the unit was installed. We would certainly recommend Patrick and his team and would certainly use them again if the need arises.

I was initially a little weary of The Luxury Pergola -- a site with a ton of beautiful resources, high quality production videos, and a price point notably higher than all of the other pre fabricated, online order pergolas.

I reached out to their team and ended up working with Patrick Hill from start to finish. Patrick always made it a point to take my calls and answer my questions all through out, and even work with me on things like pushing the delivery date back a few weeks when I was trying to find builders to install it for me in my backyard.

For larger pergolas, you absolutely need at least two people, if not three to put it together. Patrick was super kind and generous with his time, even going as far as doing video calls with my builders to consult and go over everything to make sure it was a smooth and seamless install. Patrick even reached out a few days after to check up on everything and ensure that I was happy with it -- this type of service is absolutely unprecedented and worth the price. I have no doubt in my mind that a lot of the other online companies have minimal support or communication with you post-sale, and I am absolutely confident and happy with backing The Luxury Pergola in my purchase.

Installation Experience
The delivery process was smooth with clearly labeled boxes. The installation videos were incredibly helpful, and I was fortunate to receive all parts intact. However, a missing component was quickly replaced by the company. Patrick did a great job answering the questions we had.

The pergola is exceptionally sturdy and well-constructed, exceeding expectations for durability. The included touch-up paint is a thoughtful addition. While I'm handy, this was a larger project than I've tackled before. The installation process went smoothly once I got the structure aligned.

I did encounter a minor challenge with installing the center beam due to clamp size limitations. However we discovered a creative solution. We removed the bracked from one side of the beem and mounted it (loosly screwed), used a bit of WD40 and the beem slid right on, that allowed us to balance and finished mounting the beem.  

Base collar: I don't plan on taking them off so I didn't want to worry about widning the channel (and we broke a couple of keys). So I used a bit of WD40 and was able to press the different sides together with my hands.

Overall Impression
Despite a small hiccup, I'm extremely satisfied with the pergola. It's a fantastic addition to my outdoor space. The product quality and customer support are top-notch. However a downloadable installation guide would have been beneficial for quick reference.

I absolutely love this pergola, and I've been happy with all aspects of my purchase. Kyle was very helpful and was able to answer my questions quickly and followed up with order updates promptly. The materials used are very high quality and I think the slightly textured powder coat finish is excellent. It doesn't produce any glare or reflections and is easy to clean. We had a tornado in our area with gusts over 80 MPH and as expected, no issues whatsoever with the pergola having the roof closed.

I ordered 2, different sized, pergolas based on the instructional videos provided at LP's website. It was easy to discern the strengths of the materials and the feasibility of erecting the pergolas as a DYI project. The design is well thought out. The construction procedure is straight forward and the video builds confidence that the DYI approach can be achieved by most who try. My wife and I (age 70) confidently built both pergolas with the assistance of a materials lift. The end results yielded a dignified and high-end look to our courtyard. The only tool I had to buy was a hammer drill.
