We can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience with The Medicare Family and their incredible agent, Janel Joest, who assisted us with our Medicare health insurance selection. Navigating Medicare is overwhelming, but Janel took the time to explain every option in clear, simple terms, making sure we understood the differences between plans and how each one would affect our coverage and costs.

Very transparent wth the procedure of changing from a Advantage plan to a straight medicare. Explained each part of Medicare A and B throughly. Plus what supplements included in part G.

I was expecting a rushed consult with a recommendation to switch companies.
What I got was a calm, moderate paced interview about my meds and must have doctors. (Mike Locke was very patient as I worked through all 19 of my meds!)
In the end, Mike recommended I stay with my current company and plan!
Then he helped me review my wife’s plan.
Same process, thorough and not rushed.
Same conclusion - stay where you are.

I am very impressed with Mike’s patience, thoroughness and objectivity. I will be using their service again next year.

Oh, and I have him looking into hospitalization coverage, as well. I had a very heavy hit this year and it would have been very beneficial if I had known about this before.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Julia O’Connor from the Medicare Family and she is simply amazing.
I have been watching videos for the last few months from Sylvia and they convinced me this was the company to assist in navigating these treacherous waters.
When I first retired about five years ago I had a Medicare agent who really pushed an Advantage Plan and there was no cost and great perks and my wife and I were both healthy so it made sense. Five years later we’re both still healthy but Sylvia’s videos opened my eyes about everything you should consider when making this choice. Long story short my Advantage plan is leaving my state next year so I now had the opportunity to go back to original Medicare and get a Medigap plan as well as a new Part D plan in addition to dental, vision and hearing plan. Working with Julia who was SO knowledgeable was an absolute joy and I can’t say enough about how knowledgeable she is and her no pressure approach. I settled on a Medigap G plan and she found me the best prices on a dental, vision and hearing plan as well as a zero cost plan D.

I strongly implore anyone who is looking to work with someone who can break down this complex Medicare system into layman’s terms to reach out to this team.

I loved how easy it was to schedule an appointment for an agent to call me and in a timely manner. I spoke with Casey Sullivan twice about changing from an Advantage Plan to a Supplement since I was about to turn 65. He was very patient and knowledgeable in explaining the differences. I was impressed with the options he quoted me as well as his willingness to answer all of my questions. I did end up using him to switch to a supplement and plan on calling him in 6 months when my husband turns 65. I would highly recommend scheduling an appointment with The Medicare Family for your Medicare needs.

Made an appointment with The Medicare Family to get help understanding and signing up for Medigap/Medicare Advantage. I was contacted by Peggy Willem, who walked me through the pros and cons of each of the policies, and the process for signing. up. She took time to understand my personal situation and recommend the policy that best suits my needs. She was patient and answered every question and email promptly. I felt full confidence that she had my best interests in mind and would unreservedly recommend her to anyone who wanted to explore their Medicare Supplement options.
