Enlightening Work Booklet

Great to see symptoms displayed visually with examples I recognised within myself that I hadn't previously picked up on and the rating scale helped me understand the severity of my symptoms much clearer than anything else

Brilliantly helpful workbook!

Brilliantly helpful workbook, simplistic whilst adhering to the US assessment method according to DSM. Would recommend printing it out to work on but it doesn't have to be the full document, just the 'assessment' at the end. Excellent, please don't hesitate to purchase if you have questions around a potential or confirmed ADHD diagnosis

Very Helpful

I appreciated the detailed descriptions and examples about how the different symptoms could manifest. And the visual charts.

Very helpful

I randomly found the book at the library and while reading it, it was as if someone had been in my head and translated everything that had been in there since childhood ! I have talked to my doctor and am working on getting my diagnosis ! Thank you

This is a nuanced guide

This is a nuanced guide - for people who have spent a lifetime working extra hard to compensate for ADHD challenges …. So that they may not even recognize they are exhausted because they actually have ADHD….

This is a wonderful tool for anyone.

This is a wonderful tool for anyone who has ADHD or feels like they do! You do not have to have an official diagnosis for this to be helpful. I am an ADHD coach & I plan to recommend this workbook to my clients.

Very useful guide

Very useful guide! Purchase and digital download was easy. I appreciated the multiple colour options for printing. Author regularly runs offers on their social media but it's definitely worth full price. It's very detailed and guides you through the content well.

Info on masking particularly useful

A really helpful workbook. I’m 31 years old and just starting my journey with seeking an ADHD diagnosis.

The bits I found particularly helpful were the pieces of info on how each symptom is commonly masked. I’ve got a reputation for being really organised and I’m only just starting to understand that it’s been masking and coping mechanisms all these years!

Good guide

This kept coming up in my Instagram suggested ads and eventually I decided to get it- I have my ADHD appointment coming up in a couple of months and I didn't know how to prepare and thought this workbook could help. The book itself is a very useful way of making notes about different experiences and gives good examples of each symptom and a little self-test for each symptom. Unfortunately I found myself getting confused and overwhelmed when filling it out because to me at least a lot of the symptoms feel similar (e.g. being easily distracted and struggling with being attentive feel like the same symptom to me). Also, a bit nitpicky but I would have liked a version with lines to write on because I struggle to write neatly on the bullet point note section. It does do a pretty good job of breaking down each symptom but unfortunately I don't know if it was worth the money.

Hi Jasmin 😊!

I'm sorry you were disappointed by the workbook. Your feedback is very valuable, and I'm continuously working on improving it. The symptoms you are describing are based on official DSM criteria, but I understand it might still be confusing.

Please send me an email if you want a full refund, as I commit to refund fully anyone who is not 100% satisfied with the workbook 😌💕

Have a beautiful day ☀️

So glad I found this!

I've found this book a real relief to have handy in the lead up to my assessment. Going back through all my saved research and content can be really overwhelming and this book puts all the information in one place which space for adding personal notes for each symptom. The format is engaging, it's very low pressure and it's helpful whether you read through it, answer the easy questions or fill it all in <3

A great starting point

I’m looking to get an assessment done for ADHD but I’ve been having difficulty describing how it manifests in my day to day. This document is helping me understand more of what and why, some of which wasn’t even something I thought was potentially ADHD. I am not done working through it yet but so far I’m feeling more confident in asking for an assessment and talking to someone about it.
