Absolute worst mortgage company I have ever dealt with, hands down. Aside from having long hold times every time I call them, they sure do find time to cold call me to try and sell me more products. They have not just once, but twice taken payment from the wrong bank account causing the payment to bounce, then had the audacity to charge me the return payment fees and late fees. Because this has happened twice, they are requiring me to make a payment through mailing in a cashiers check. Now, after doing it their way, they are calling me telling me they have not recieved the $1740.02 payment I sent them. All they could tell me is that they are not responsible for lost mail. With that being said, they refuse to lift the restriction saying that this is the only way I can pay them. Im almost tempted to take a higher interest rate and refi with someone else so that I dont have to deal with them anymore

Recently I had a mix-up, which resulted in a double payment against my monthly mortgage while attempting to pay additional payments into my Escrow account. Navigation through customer service to resolve my issue was initially unsuccessful, but during one of my more successful calls, customer service shared the email address of Ms. Kristi (VP, customer service) with me. I couldn't be most pleasantly satisfied with the efficiency with which she handled my case and resolved my issue. She easily understood my issue, which I had emailed to her, acknowledged my email and took timely action, and also followed up via email and telephone. It is the kind of customer care that I look for and I am grateful that I can relax knowing that something that initially appeared complicated was addressed with a clear understanding of the issue and in a very timely way.

They are my new servicer. The site says I owe a payment and it is past due. But the site won't let me make a payment online. Just says "check back later". I called and got the runaround. The rep just kept saying "Not to worry, you are protected." I asked her to put that in writing on any form that I could note - she refused. I asked for a ticket number or reference number so I could make a formal complaint. - she refused. Supervisor? - refused. Wouldn't even tell me how to make a complaint. Their website said to start a complaint at ***********.co that email doesn't work. Just undeliverable. TMS is terrible service and they go out of their way to make it impossible to file any formal complaints.
I have eight of these types of loans (RE Investor), so I understand the servicing transfer, but TMS is the worst of all the servicers I've worked with.

Kristi Schleicher provided excellent customer service when I emailed. She replied back in a timely manner and expressed concern with my issue
I had a refund issue and was having trouble getting it back. So I wrote a bad review but I want to change that. Kristi called me about 4 hours after writing the review and within 15 minutes of that call the refund was in my bank account. Now that is 5-star service!!!

Kristi Schleicher was simply amazing. She ACTUALLY listened to my explanation of the issues, then she ACTUALLY worked with me to resolve the issues. We were on the phone for 37 MINUTES and the issues were resolved. T. M. S. has had my loan for approximately 2 1/2 years. I cannot even remember how many times I have called in an attempt to resolve this. You said that you needed me to put more money in my Escrow account and I did what you said that would resolve the issues. NEVER did anything get resolved. She is by far the best employee that you have on your staff. You should promote her with a huge raise. I have P. T. S. D.; Now some people think that that is nothing. I have level 4 and it is very difficult to handle, especially when I get pissed off. She took a ton of grief, anger, and uncertainty off my shoulders. I wish I had been in contact with her sooner. None of this grief would have happened.

The Money Source is more than 3.7 Star rated bank! I have been a customer for 7 years and never had any issues Only ones that i made myself by accident. And I have gotten to know Kristi Schleicher very well and she is Outstanding! She always was and is very nice and fixes any problems i have. And She *Always* Calls back very quickly if she's doesn't answer the phone .. Sometimes Reviews are good to go by, but in this Case I would Not. Some people are just impatient or just mean when they talk to customer service people no matter what company they are from. I have had Many customer service people tell me > "Thanks for being nice" I ask them why do you say that? Because a lot of people are mean and nasty. So If you are thinking about a Mortgage bank don't hesitate to use them. And you'll see for yourself. Kristi Schleicher is the best. And I would NEVER believe anything written here that says she is Unprofessional or Not helpful! Total Lie.... I do not know Kristi Schleicher other than the Money Source...
Update 11/1/22: A representative informed the $550 charge had been removed. This is not true. My account still shows the $550 charge, and the initial $450 charge still has not been refunded. As I said, TMS has a well-deserved reputation for being elusive and nontransparent in its dealings. My lawyer has been notified.
Garbage. This company had refused to explain A charge of $450 for "fees". It has been a year, and I had to get a lawyer and a court action to get a response. In return, even after acknowledging the fee was in error, today I got another "fee" for $550. Totally disgusted. I advise any and all people employed by the United States armed forces to avoid them like the plague.

After a divorce and COVID I fell behind on payments. So they sent me a packet and I completed it only for them to tell me 2 weeks later that something was missing I completed that and sent it .. weeks go by only for them to tell me that I would have to do it all over again and this kept on and on.. years of trying to get them to place my late payments on the back end of my loan so I could start paying on time again they put my house in auction without me knowing!!! And to find out by the person who bought my home and try to work with me till me and my daughter and new girlfriend whos helped me rebuild... Best believe I'll be talking to my lawyer in the morning.... I could be much further along had they done their job like the slogan says " where people matter" what people? The people who work for y'all? And probably never had to struggle?? The worst part is they make sure they have the right email and that's how I like to be contacted because my phone's are always have some type of Damage. Due to the work I do and not once do they email me.. what's the point of y'all don't use it as a form of contact even when the customer asked if they can't be reached by phone to send a email... I'm beyond pissed!! I could have sold my home already but noooo. They wanna keep you in your home and they don't wanna have to go through the whole process of foreclosures... Lies all lies!! I'm sure my lawyer is going to love all the complaints when I send him the links... That's TMS you really helped like you said you would.. help people get far behind and then seell their house from under them with no warning.

Horrible to deal with! Run like HELL!! Call centers in another country so getting ANYTHING done is crazy hard or impossible! Having issues selling our house because they dont have a clue!! Will be soooo glad not to have to deal with them anymore and its only been a year!
It’s hard to even comprehend the difficulty in working with this company. Customer service is the absolute worst I have ever encountered. Multiple calls disconnected, then you have to start all over again with the next clueless agent. It feels outsourced, likely to India. That would be ok if they could actually help you, but they can’t nor will they accommodate requests to escalate to someone who can. I’m 10 calls into the current issue and finally got someone who promised to escalate and get me a response last Friday. Didn’t happen. Back on the phone today starting over, again.
It’s maddening!!! I’ve never had this much drama with a mortgage company. It’s like they don’t know what they are doing.
