Priceless!!!

Kristi has a tough role at TMS. She was literally the only positive voice that I dealt with during the short time my mortgage was serviced by TMS. She listened and followed through on her word...Priceless!

FYI. She deserves a raise!

5 stars for Kristi Schleicher

This review is for Kristi Schleicher and her outstanding customer service. My mortgage payment was coming up on the 1st of the month and I was about to head out on a trip. I couldn't recall if I had scheduled my autopay and the TMS customer dashboard was down. Kristi helped quell my fears and make sure that I was good to go. My payment went through without any hiccups. Thanks, Kristi!

Resolved ongoing issue!!!!

I was finally able to resolve an ongoing issue with The Money Source after speaking to about 30 reps who made promises and failed to keep them. I found the VP of customer service information on this site and reached out to Kristi Schleicher and my experience changed immediately. I was totally surprised when she returned my email and called me within hours of reaching out to her. She was very pleasant and listened to what I had to say. Well less than two weeks later my issue is completely resolved and she has offered her service with any future issue. So after of 4 months of phones calls and explaining the issue over and over, my issue was resolved with one phone call to Kristie Schleicher who changed my opinion about The Money Source!!!!!!! Forever grateful Donald and Valerie Killins!!!!

My loan was transferred to Money Source for VU

My loan was transferred to Money Source from Veterans United and was immediately reported as delinquent when it wasn't. I am filing a grievance with anyone and everyone I can at this time but if you can avoid this company then you absolutely should! I'd give negative stars if I could.

Waiting for an answer!!!

I am waiting for a response from Kristi, as I mentioned before, I sent her a few emails without receiving a response yet. There are several doubts we have about the management of our account, which for several months we have been waiting for it to end. Already at the beginning of October it seemed that this cumbersome process was ending, we were just waiting for our escrow analysis and the response to our request to remove the PMI. And instead of finishing the process and correctly calculating our payment, they are now backing up the process and making a new partial claim of which they never asked my husband for authorization, nor did they ever inform us that they would do much less which months they would cover. That was not agreed! I have always been the one who has been in communication with this company and I hope that someone with professionalism will solve this disconcerting situation for us.

Horrible experience!! Unprofessional and dishonest company!!!

Once again, I have experienced a very bad experience with all the personnel who have assisted me in that company, I am totally dissatisfied with the unprofessional way of handling our account. Since we asked for the forberance plan in April 2019, the experience we have had has been a real nightmare! In July of last year we wanted to get out of that plan and continue with our payments, the payment was taken from me and I also decided to pay the short in the escrow account, after making an effort to be up to date, they told me that it had been a I was wrong to have taken the Julio payment and also the Escrow payment, something that I never understood. They told me that my payment would be taken for the month of April 2019 and that if I wanted to get out of the forberance plan I would have to pay the months behind, that was something impossible for us because my husband was left without one of the jobs he had previously. It was then that we were contacted by a certain law firm (The Vanguard Law Firm) that offered to help us to get up to date with a restructuring of our account, assuring us that our payments would go down, that we would not have to pay the arrears and that they would not do no modification, that they would be communicating with TMS and reviewing the anomalies that they commit. unfortunately we fell into that blackmail and paid them
$ 1,000 dollars from September to December 2019. In mid-December I received some documents of an alleged modification that we never requested. I immediately contacted TMS to ask what was happening and they told me that they received a request for modification in the month of November apparently signed by my husband, I asked them for proof of that and verified that the law company falsified the signature of my husband to request that modification, then we asked that it be canceled because it was not convenient for us and we had never requested it. I can't understand why we were never informed of that modification process that TMS approved by forging signatures without asking to speak to my husband first. When I am authorized in the account, I have tried to request any procedure, they have denied me and they have always told me that they have to speak with my husband so that he can authorize it. I consider that TMS was complicit in that fraud because they never informed us, nor did they verify that the signature was legitimate. I have talked about this on several occasions with different TMS employees and they never give me an answer. After that we have tried to update our account and yet since the beginning of January of this year, a TMS employee advised me to request a new modification, the process was too long the process (more than 3 months) and that caused that our debt was increasing. Until approximately June we received the modification documents, but the terms were totally different from what they had promised us, with a higher interest than the one agreed, for that reason it was not convenient to accept it. It was then that we asked that all of our debt be put into a silent loan or "partial claim". At the end of July, this partial claim was signed and coincidentally, on the same day, our government aid that we had requested was approved. It was $ 20 thousand dollars that we received to help with our debt. I immediately contacted them to let them know about it and whoever attended me told me that it was not possible to cancel the partial claim because it had already been notarized, I indicated that we had the right to cancel within the first 3 days, it was then when she asked to speak to a supervisor, who told her it could be canceled. We then asked that only the partial claim be made for the remaining debt. It was more than a month that this process did not finish, when I decided to post a comment by this means and it was then that Kristi Schleicher offered me the help of her. I put my trust in her because she made sure that she would take care of solving our situation. A few days later, a supervisor named Angelina contacted me, who told me that the process that we were waiting for the new partial claim of the difference that remained after the help we received was not the correct thing and that the $ 20 thousand dollars of help that we received them would apply for advance payments in our account and that it was not possible to cancel the partial claim already signed. The truth is that those comments made us feel very confused and we continued to hope that the changes would then be made to our account, we being willing that our account was already up to date. We then requested an escrow analysis, because in May of this year we had received escrow documents indicating a short in our account, but they had not allowed me to pay that short telling me that my account had to be up to date. I have tried to contact Kristi, but I have not received any response from her.

I had an issue with the transfer of our loan where automatic payments didn't transfer, and I was worried about missing a payment. Kristi responded quickly when I found her email address on this site and handled any confusion I had and reassured me that there wouldn't be any delinquency issues. Don't get me wrong, I would have preferred a smoother process where I wouldn't have needed to worry about possibly missing a payment, but I did appreciate the quick responses and solving of the problem.

Poor customer care

My original loan servicer sold the loan during a loan modification due to covid relief. I was originally assured this would not happen, however it did. My first trail payment went to my original servicer and was transferred to TMS. I completed my trial period payments in Sept 2021. Upon completion TMS was to generate the already approved modification paperwork , send to me for signature and finalize said modification. This should have been don't in October. I recieved a call from my customer advocate 10/25/21 stating she was escalating to underwriting since my paperwork was not distributed to me. I called back 11/04/21 and another advocatestated the paperwork was just submitted to underwriting. When questioned about the pre ious conversation with the other advocate he acted ignorant and tries to gloss over the issue. I have faithfully made my new payments during the trial period and beyond. A total to date of 5 payments. This is indication of my commitment to maintaining my obligations of the APPROVED loan modification. Whereas TMS has not promptly or responsibly handled my loan modification. Tjeu have not sent out the new loan to me for signature and have no definitive date as to when I can expect it. Subsequently they have now reported me to the credit agencies that I have late payments. Thus was reported as of 11/05/21 and had caused a 150+point drop in my credit files.ihave not missed any mortgage payment, I opted for the covid relief plan so as not to incur any credit damage and be able to keep possession of my home. TMS has failed to provide the modification papers in a prompt and timely manner of which I was guaranteed would happen.they state I am almost 20k in arrears without acknowledgement I am under a legal loan modification plan per government mandate, and now they have caused extreme damage to my credit Bua 150+ point decrease which in turn now jeopardizes my recent offer of employment which is contingent upon a positive credit check along with an FBI background for public trust clearance.

My ask is this:
1. Expedite the loan paperwork within 2-3 business days from this post.
Immediately correct the false report of late payments that have been reported to the credit bureaus and ensure my previous scores are reinstated.
3. Correct all indication that I am behind 20k+ in mortgage payments as this is false due to the rules around covid relief.
YOU WERE OBLIGATED TO NOT REPORT LATE PAYMENTS WHILE UNDER A LOAN MODIFICATION. This will be further addressed to other authorities including the VA as this is a VA guaranteed loan.

Bad Website | No communication since closing

While trying to create account and add payment info, not being able to copy/paste a password or routing number was frustrating. Communication since signing paperwork has been a bit lackluster. I signed closing documents over 2 weeks ago and just now got an email to setup an account. Not sure if that falls more on Better.com or TMS. Hopefully once autopay starts rolling I won't have any need to think about this anymore.

Edit: Also discovered that I can't verify my phone number. (Get verification code via text and error message when I input it into website) It seems like this website was designed to irritate me.

Worst customer service

after several years of flawless easy service with Rushmore, my loan was sold and suddenly TMS was servicing our loan. WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. They tacked on $3000 in additional charges, would not disclose to me what the charges were for or how they justified adding them. Employees know NOTHING, they admit they know nothing, you can call and say "what is this line on my statement" and they say "that's just for informational purposes." They actually tell you to ignore letters from TMS, and they can't answer a single freaking question. I never asked to have my loan sold, so I am refinancing elsewhere just to get the hell away from TMS and their insanely inept "customer service."

UPDATE: Per the customer service comment on my review, I sent all my info on Nov 1... no word back from them yet. Which is pretty much what I expected, given our experience with TMS so far.

Problem Solved

Had an issue with escrow account on a new refinance. Was being double charged for my property tax. After some initial frustration with the customer service line - I emailed Kristi Schleicher directly for help. She contacted me right away and told me she would take care of the issue. Within a couple of days - the matter was addressed. Ms. Schleicher could not have been nicer, more efficient, or more professional. Just great.

A company that is willing to listen!

I'm updating my review because of my experience with Kristi. She took the time to read my post, my detailed email and acknowledged my concerns. She helped bring resolution to my dilemma and appreciate that Kristi took the time to listen. TMS is fortunate to have someone like Kristi on their side and as a consumer, I appreciate her solution-minded approach.

They have horrible costumer service

They have horrible costumer service, it’s impossible to get anyone on the phone. They say the wait time is 1 min and I sit on wait for over 30 mins no answer. Call back same thing again. So I did the method where they call you back and no call back. Absolutely horrible costumer service and would not recommend this company to any one.

Kristi Schleicher -the BEST!

This review is to praise Kristi Schleicher for solving what had been a persistent problem over several months and many, many phone calls. I was going to write a scathing review but before I did I looked at many reviews that recommended Kristi. I immediately wrote her an email and Kristi responded within an hour or two. She resolved the problem in a day or two. I hope that TMS realizes what and asset they have in Kristi. She is efficient, friendly and respectful of customers.

If you have a problem, don't hesitate-contact Kristi!

I just want it noted Kristi Schleicher is an excellent asset to the Money Source! Her prompt service and excellent customer service skills are well worth recognition and should be commended! In fact, I nominate her to conduct customer service training throughout your company. This was my first contact with your company and I wanted it to be a positive one. I selected to email Kristi directly based on previous reviews on her which she proved to be accurate! Thanks again Kristi, it's been a pleasure working with you!!!

I've paid my mortgage early every month…

I've paid my mortgage early every month for the past year. I paid my August payment in may and all was well. Suddenly, in mid-July when I go to login to pay for Sept...Im somehow deliquent by 35K and according to TMS I haven't paid all year. I've been calling in for 6 weeks now. Everytime I'm given a ton of apologies and some date that all of this will be completed by. I'm also told that someone will follow up with me. No one calls, and the date comes and goes and nothing is done. Today I learned that my credit score tanked because of their issue. I've sent in bank statements and even the trnsactions for the mortgage company before them...I get told every time that it will take 3 business days to fix. It's still not fixed, no one cares, and now my credit is reduced by 50 points. I've submitted reviews and will get a response that someone will help...I reach out to that person and nothing happens. Horrible company.

I wish they would sale my account

I wish they would sale my account. My experience with TMS has been horrible. I was told I had a escrow shortage and to keep my mortgage the same I paid the shortage in a lump sum. The following month after I paid it my mortgage was still significantly higher. And in addition I'm told that my Mortgage will now be higher monthly. In addition to that to add insult to injury........ They are now saying I have another escrow shortage it's only been a month since I paid off the last shortage. No one seems to be able to explain why or escalate my call to a person who can explain.

The Money Source (TMS) incorrectly managed the payments on my account and have not fixed it after 9 months of calls

The Money Source (TMS) incorrectly charged an escrow payment to my account and have not corrected the mistake. My account wasn’t setup for
escrow and I paid all my taxes directly to the county. My account at the county is in good standing. This left my account in the TMS systems as incorrectly having a negative balance. They also did not apply multiple $X.XX over payments to principal over the period they serviced the loan also leading to an incorrect principal balance.
My account was then transferred to a new servicer (Flagstar Bank).
The new servicer used the bad information provided by TMS to add escrow payments to my account resulting in an incorrect monthly payment.
I have had over 20 calls with TMS talking to a dozen different people to try to get the corrected numbers and payment sent to my new servicer, yet after 9 month they still have not corrected their mistakes.
