Haveeee a shrooooomie

I've ordered the fresh Lion's Mane twice now and I've received the freshest, most delicious looking and smelling mushrooms I've ever seen. And they tasted how they looked - absolutely delicious, savoury, umami, meaty. I haven't yet been able to find fresh lion's mane from anyone else so thank you for these.

Honest review: we love mushrooms, but these were a real disappointment, they certainly do not sear like a steak, they are mushy and not firm at all. I contacted customer services and after they asked for a photo of them, they offered to send more mushrooms out for free, however we’ve been put off and did not want them replaced, we asked for a refund or at least a partial refund but they refused despite offering to send more mushrooms for free costing them postage and packing. I wrote back to say I was disappointed that they’d rather send more and lose out on postage, packing and more mushrooms rather than keep a customer happy and use the other products, they never replied. Needless to say we will not be shopping at The Mushroom Barn, very disappointed to have spent £20 on something that was mushy and not steak like as described.

This is the kind of outfit I like to do business with. I ordered some lions mane but the delivery company didn’t get them to me until a day late, obviously they weren’t as fresh as expected, but still edible. Mushroom Barn replied to my email immediately and replaced my order. The mushrooms are beautifully packed and of excellent quality. It’s when things go wrong that find out just how good the customer service is. Thank you Mushroom Barn.
