I bought a silver Rose Root ring from The Name Jewellery for my wedding in April. The image on the website showed a contoured silver ring which suited my style. The price was reasonable (too readonable?) especially including a 10% discount. I wanted to personalise the ring with 4 gems to represent us as a family.
I wasn't expecting the ring to be exceptional, but that it should look like the ring I purchased.
The ring I received was an uncontoured stainless steel band . It was not shaped as in the image but the surface was roughly scratched while the inside, unlike the original image was bright and shiny. I could not see whether the requested inscription was present.
I have clearly wasted £94 on the ring. There has been no response from the support team to my email sent because their "contact us" page didn't work on at least two occasions when I wanted to get in touch.
I had not read the reviews for The Name Jewellery before ordering - I wish I had! BUYER BEWARE.

I paid £77 for a thumb spinning ring .
received the ring it was supposed to be silver the metal was black due to overheating .
the centre piece that should spin will not spin .
I have sent 3 e mails to no avail now being ignored .
I have passed complaint to trading standards .
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING ITS A SCAM !!!!!!!!

Do not use this website, I’ve had 3 lots of money go out of my account and the item is still in my basket, customer service is non existent I’ve emailed twice but had no response, bounces back!! I just hope my bank are understanding and refund me

Ordered something after thinking website was ok. Anything but.
Have had to chase them up big time, threatened them with all sorts.
Received some trashy thing today, it was in a very nice box however, ha ha.

This company are most definitely ripping unsuspecting consumers off. Avoid at all cost. I only realised once I read the reviews that they are a scam. Paid for my item, received no order confirmation email and no order number. I emailed them and they replied informing me that my item was being hand made and would take 20 days to arrive! I told them that had I known this before I paid for the item I would not have paid, and that this was a breach of online trading terms in the UK. I am now getting what seems like emails written by someone who’s first language is not English (clearly) basically telling me ‘we are now making your item’ we will be in touch. Clearly this company are not trading in the UK and are scamming customers out of their money. How this website has been allowed to continue to trade is beyond me. I’m now £112 out of pocket that was supposed to be on an item that was for my son’s birthday! I was sent a random plastic chain in a box that I definitely did not order. So I paid £112 for a random silver coloured plastic chain, that took ten days to arrive from Sheffield. The item bared absolutely no resemblance to the sterling silver chain and skull that I had ordered. I have sent the item back and am awaiting a refund. I have no idea what on earth this company is trying to do, however, they are not doing it to me. Do not buy from this website at all!

I am disgusted with the lack of customer service, I’ve had emails ignored. They have no intention on replying. Apparently it comes in a gift box.. which looks old and didn’t even have the company name on. The footprint doesn’t look like the picture that they are selling online. The packaging labels were covering up Chinese writing. It’s utterly disgusting, why they are allowed to carry on selling is beyond me.

Do not order anything from this company. I wish I had read the reviews first.
I ordered a finger print necklace of my Son. The picture on the website looked great and what has arrived is shocking. It’s just a laser engraving image and absolutely nothing like the image on the website.
I contacted for a refund and have heard nothing.

Save your money and order from some where else i ordered item and it took a month to arrive and when it did was wrong didn't have the right stones in it contacted them and said they would send correct item that was ordered and still haven't received item and no one will answer or return my emails This was a gift for my wife off are children for Christmas very unfair way of doing business and poor customer service

Please do not use this company. The photos for their fingerprint jewellery are actually mine that they have stolen!

Terrible!
Is this a legitimate company?
No telephone number.
No customer help/complaint log number.
No delivery company named only a random tracking number.
No proof that they have even made my order

Occasional email responses from a "support" email address asking me to be patient and that my item ordered on 25th Nov would "hopefully" be with me before Xmas. It still hasn't arrived at 30th Dec.

Last email update today, coincidentally, not long after I reported them via PayPal stated "item has now been shipped". I can only imagine from where, as there are no details.

They are part of Goldsmith so the company structure makes it difficult to communicate with any named Director, without some digging (Ironic!).

Their web site states:
"We're a group of British jewellery artists crafting custom & personalised pieces in our own workshop."

So, I wouldn't have expected my order to be delivered/shipped in from outside of the UK. If it has been I will be reporting them to Trading Standards, Google Commercial as well as requesting a refund.

If I have got this completely wrong and there are rational explanations for the terrible service I am happy to hear and share on TRUSTPILOT.

Named Jewellery please get in touch and put your case forward. I will give it another week before I take further action

I should have checked the web site more rigorously. A fool and his money are often parted!

Merry Christmas

Paid over £200 for a ring that when arrived was low quality and came in Chinese packaging. Managed to trace it back to aliexpress where you can buy it for literally less than £1. The fight to get my money back begins.

the worst online company I have ever bought I ordered a 925 silver necklace.and I paid that around £50 when it came home to me after a week the necklace started blushing.I sent them mail and they just told me to clean it Because sometimes it happens from the chemicals I cleaned it and it never left them I sent mail again I called them five more times and this company never answered me.I ordered another necklace the same as the first one came back in the same condition and with a different shape.I e-mailed them again I insisted but they never answered me they never gave me my money back I lost about 100 pounds and I just have two red necklaces at home.the worst company in all of England do not buy from this company they make fun of you and eat your money.unprofessional and liars. BECAREFUL

My husband ordered me a ring from there they kept promising to send it but 5 months later still nothing. Still waiting for a refund!

Scam company no confirmation email no notification what’s so ever even phone numbers fake took my money no goods no nothing not hand made at all all pictures from a lagit company do not buy no response to anything bank does pending payments and beware they also have reoccurring payments once they have your bank details my bank has put a stop to this do not buy BEWARE scammers. Beware. ,,,

Says hand made in Britain but just comes from China. Scam !!!!! No intention of refunding their mistakes, have a ring with an engraving I didn’t ask for they saying it’s default despite nowhere stating it’s a default. Con artists !!!!

AVOID!

Ordered a ring for a 30th birthday. The ring states sterling silver. It is NOT. Turned my partners finger green after a few days of wear.

Not only that. I had it engraved. I misspelt the word 'Happy' and sent the engravement request as 'Haooy 30th xxx'.
Any normal human would know that word was misspelt. They proceeded with the engraving instead of checking with me. They never sent a confirmation email even though they claimed they did. If they had, I would have noticed the typo and rectified it before it reached the engraving stage.

Customer service is shocking. No replies to emails or calls. I gave them the chance to fix the issue and they just point blank ignored me.
I am taking this case to trading standards as the website states its sterling silver and it clearly isn't.

Absolutely fuming and extremely upset with this horrendous company.

My husband ordered a bracelet from this site for my Birthday- requesting my children's names to be engraved.

It eventually arrived but the quality was so so bad and clearly fake.
It was returned to the address provided however no communication and pending refund from PayPal dispute.

Do not order from here it's a scam!

I did not receive an order confirmation or order number. I emailed the company 4 times with NO reply at all. I'd come to the conclusion this was a fake website and I'd been scammed. I cancelled my credit card as a precaution. Surprisingly my order did arrive and the delivery was quicker than anticipated. I would not use this website again and I would not recommend anyone else using it either. Very poor customer service (actually it was non-existent)

Very sad that I have made an order for my children's hand prints to be printed on to a silver charm and this company have taken £70 of my money but haven't even sent me an email confirmation.... I have tried emailing them through there website twice still with no answer. I assume I have been scammed! Buyers beware!
