The internal storage dividers are made from particleboard with a PU veneer - these are not removable as they add lateral support to the side rails. The Chester Rustic Ottoman Storage Bed Frame is finished with a lightweight and durable lacquer, protecting it over its lifetime. The base of the storage area consists of 4 removable MDF panels topped with a PU veneer. These panels are optional and designed to protect your flooring. They also provide ease of access and cleaning of the under-bed storage area. These panels are simply placed on top of your floor and are not fixed in position, as a result there is no weight limit for the items that you can store underneath your bed frame.
