Absolutely no benefits to us whatsoever.
Beware, they not only want to track your TV usage but also your PC / internet usage which I stopped almost at the outset

Great start

Had a very positive start to the scheme in which an extremely friendly and helpful technician attended my property yesterday. I could not have had a better start to the scheme so thank you to the tech for his helpfulness and professionalism and I look forward to being a member of the programme

Harassed for trying to leave the panel

I wanted to leave the panel because it was no longer worth it. They kept sending me messages telling me to use a TV that I very rarely use.
After I told them I wanted to leave because the poor rewards weren't worth it, I started to get emails, phone calls and messages asking me to reconsider. Finally, they arranged to come on Friday to collect the equipment but no one bothered to show up. Then they arranged to come on Monday and again, nobody showed up.
I am now stuck with equipment I don't want and waiting for yet another harassing email, phone call or message. Very unhappy. The box is now sitting outside my front door.

Free money, zero effort

Loving the rewards we're getting from doing something as simple as watching TV. It amazes me the number of people who have never used the service but have an opinion (and even write reviews) about the validity of it or that it's some form of "spying" (it's not btw). People, you're just not that interesting and you probably give all your information away in normal internet sign ups and transactions. Honestly, this is free money for us for zero effort. What could be better?

Free money

Had this for about 2 years now. I get a points I can turn into vouchers for whatever I want. It’s literally free money every month. The bad reviews are unjustified here. Yes they collect data on what you watch/browse, and probably most people bad reviews are watching or doing something online they shouldn’t anyway. Ordering a take away tonight with a just eat voucher from this company. Thank you 😊

There's nothing wrong with easy money

I have been part of this program for over two years and there has been no interference from any of the add-ons. Points are on time, and they accumulate quite quickly. The vouchers come in handy when we remember they are there as the units have no impact on our day-to-day life.

A follow up....Been with these a few years now, already cashed out around £240 in Amazon vouchers and i've still got £252 to cash in whenever. The monthly payments are on time, I get a call now and again, to see if everything is ok, I don't get spammed and it's the easiest thing i've ever done, to earn amazon vouchers. Thank you !!

Too many conspiracy theorists!

Like Mark K, I too am amazed at the poor reviews! You get money in the form of gift vouchers or goods, all for just sitting and watching TV as normal or using the Internet. I've had beauty products worth quite a bit, all dispatched directly from John Lewis, as well as Amazon cards. The equipment doesn't listen in to conversations or anything like that - it interacts with advertising based on embedded codes within the ads. There's no big conspiracy. Big Brother isn't monitoring you through the equipment, other than for what it's designed for, namely to see what advertising you watch. I've had this equipment for a couple of years now and never had any kind of issue, only enjoyed the rewards, which are easy to claim and arrive quickly. A lot of people here have given low ratings just purely based on perceived views, not on any real knowledge, simply mimicking other (ill informed) opinions. Yes there are a lot of scams about, but this isn't one of them. Anyone thinking of joining the panel should be looking at reviews of people who are actually signed up, not those who think it's dodgy based on....what, fear of everything?

It's free money for minimal input

Can't fathom the negative reviews, if you're contacted but don't want to enroll then just bin it. I asked to join and soon after was invited to participate. I arranged for the engineer install (tv meter, phone app and a wee box into my router) minimal input required from me and was credited 112000 points once my account was up and running. Redeemed these for £110 of amazon vouchers (10000 points = £10. plenty of gifts to choose from or vouchers) so it's free money, I have nowt to hide and it's anonymous anyway.
No spam emails, weird calls to my mobile or letter drops via post.
Any issues I simply email them and it's sorted next working day.
Part of the Kantar group, their reach is global and make their money from the advertisers, tv channels, e-commerce etc

Trustable company- Kantar

Thought I'd be the 1st to leave a 3-star review.
I note almost all the negative reviews are prejudices, rather than from people having a transaction.

Yes, they can be late in payments - in the past, I have received cash in the post from Kantar around 3 months after I'd forgotten I completed a panel survey.

I'd give them a 3 because I can trust Kantar media, (the print on the envelope proves it is from them & not a scammer), the surveys, panels, and tasks are meaningful to the question to be answered(unlike other surveys which ask ambiguous, binary questions), but they can be slow to pay out for the paper media(I'd guess payout time is when all answers are received from all individuals -not when my survey is added to the pile).

Got a letter from them today

"The instrument (the telescreen it was called) could be dimmed, but there was no way of shutting it off completely." The telescreen both watched and received simultaneously; anything above a whisper would be recorded. Of course, there was no way of knowing if anyone was listening at any given moment. How often or on what system, the Thought Police plugged in on any individual was guess work."

Got a letter from them today, thought I'd look around online before dropping it in the bin. They lost me when they started telling me how lucky I was to be chosen to participate. Really? I'm not 5.

We want to help companies create targeted marketing.. Why on gods earth would I want that? Anyone pay attention to Cambridge Analytica? ? Not a chance in hell.

We'll install unknown devices and apps on your systems, that will at a minimum work as bloat ware and slow everything the hell down and be almost impossible to remove. We'll record all your digital habits, yeah my porn history is for my wife and I's eyes only cheers. You know what I also have online in secure places, my photo collections including images of my daughter, that could be linked to my location, no one in their right mind would ever share pictures of their children publicly linked to locations in this world as it is, that's dangerous.

Data and big data is valuable, far, far more valuable than the money they are offering here and this requires you to actually interact and do work at less than minimum wage as well as having your systems slowed, viruses installed (they are viruses because they are bloatware, and bloatware is negative) I can't imagine the piles of useless crap and add ons they'll install in your directories, like modern day companies like Mcfee aren't bad enough at destroying your system. They can access all your traffic, secure or otherwise, IPs you go to, torrent sites you visit, emails you get, if they record the packets they could extract them. Discord messages, Facebook, twitter, tiktok, emails, it will all be recorded. Every inane question you ask google or Alexia, recorded, your usage of AI programs, your calendar, phone contacts, fetishes, medical history, that time you needed that cream for that itch in a uncomfortable place they'll use it and all your adverts will be for anasol. Don't give them the keys to your life for £15 a month, that's insane...

This is worrying

Just got an invitation to this. Beware of installing anything that lets anyone monitor your devices. This software will allow access to everything on your device. Banking passwords, email passwords, all your data
It is basically inviting someone to steal your identity.
Mine is in the bin where it belongs. So

unprofessional

It's hard to comprehend that this project is part of such a well-established brand. It gives the impression its run from a shed in the middle of the back of beyond. Shocking customer service. Very unclear in everything from day 1. Missed appointments. Consistently late. Almost 2 months just trying to return the equipment. And now delays with my final 'reward' which I very much want so I can draw a line under this sorry experience.
