The service I received from this company was truly excellent. I'm 58 years old and had 2 Seperate pension pots that I wanted to move into a single pension that I could access as and when I wanted.
After contacting them via their website I was promptly contacted by Chris Minter (administrator) who asked for a brief outline of what I was looking for and then he arranged a meeting with one of their financial advisers and pension specialists named Shane Kao.
I met Shane at their offices although this could also be done over the Internet if preferred. Shane was first class. We discussed in depth my current financial situation, my requirements, my attitude to risk etc and a couple of weeks later Shane had complied a very detailed report along with his recommendations. Along the journey both Chris and Shane were easy to contact should any questions arise. They were both superb. They both kept me well informed every step of the way.
This was a very big step for me to take and I was a little nervous but I am so pleased that I chose this company to guide me.
After the process was complete their follow ups were much appreciated and both are available for further advice should I need it.
I cannot recommend The Pension Planner highly enough. 5 stars without a shadow of doubt.

Very efficient process. Excellent communication from Chris, with regular progress updates. Shane was thorough and patient, outlining my options over multiple Zoom calls. I was happy with the advice given and the implementation of the recommended plan.

I found The Pension Planner on the list of government approved pension advisors website. I contacted a few but Shane was really the only person who contacted me in a timely manner. The personal attention I received from Shane, Chris and Chris made the process of accessing and reviewing my pension very easy and so glad they are now looking after my pension. Unfortunately the advisor did not have a clue about redundancy payments and being able to use as a carry forward into the pension.
After several hours looking online I managed to sort it out myself.
