The People Foundation is legitimate and fulfilling virtual community service
I enjoy this work so much. I have many problems that cause me to not be able to contribute to community service or volunteering in person but remotely it opens up a whole new realm of possibilities! The work is engaging and meaningful and I really enjoy the content I am working with! They even have options for you to go and apply to help their customer service line for hours as well! This non-profit is absolutely astonishing and I think more of these organizations should offer remote volunteer opportunities!

Frustrating Experience with The People’s Foundation
Honestly, I was only two hours away from completing my required hours and on my final day when I was suddenly removed from the program. While I understand I was running a bit behind myself, I still made sure to follow all the guidelines set by The People’s Foundation. Instead of being given the chance to finish, I was falsely accused of misconduct and then refunded without even asking for one. I felt completely ignored throughout the process, despite my efforts to stay compliant and finish what I started. This experience was frustrating and disappointing, especially after putting in so much time and effort to complete my hours properly.
